It has been almost a year since my last visit here, and lots of cool stuff has been going on in the world of Pokemon!

So I got Pokemon Y about 1 or 2 days after it came out and man, oh man. THAT GAME IS EXTREMELY FUN AND AWESOME! Customizable character, 3D modeled pokemon, framerate issues, Fairy type... IT'S ALL THERE!!!

A couple of weeks ago (from this post) I got Pokemon X. This is the first time I ever got both of the titles from a release before the 3rd "special" came out. In this game I play as my OC Evie (a character I created and is on my deviantart https://kromcompany.deviantart.com ) And I am having lots of fun.

It is challenging to decide which one to focus as my main file, but pokemon bank is making it easy to share my pokemon.

How are your experiences with these games? Got both?

I went all out when the 3ds xl pokemon version came out, and got x and y that day :-) also bought the x and y case! :-) my main file is in Y.

I got x and y a few days before release date. but Y for me and X for my girlfriend (due to our respective chromosomes ofc)
She hasn't completed it yet or been any help in completing my dex as she decided that if i don't tell her everything to do there's no point in playing. so the experience with both game has not been ideal :(

I managed to get a hold of Pokémon Y day after release. It took only about a week for me to finish the story, as I'd play it for nearly four hours or so each day. That's a lot, I know, but I guess I was just addicted. xD" Would definitely have liked it better if it were a little longer, but, oh well, it was still great. Hopefully, I might get X version at some point in the near future.

I managed to get Pokemon Y at 12am via the E Shop. I managed to beat the game in the first day it came out and I have loved it ever since. The 3D Models are really what make the game spectacular though.

I got both X and Y at the Best Buy in King of Prussia the day after release, I checked the Wal-Mart near there but they didn't get them until a day later. I didn't get them release day because I was at my grandparents' house. So far I have over 210 hours logged in my main version of X, having done a lot of breeding and Battle Maison since completing it. The 3D is quite good.

And I picked up another copy of X to have for fun challenge runs and such. While it does seem a bit excessive while I have both versions (unless one of them was Japanese), I chose that because I like X's exclusives much more than Y's.
