    Just outta curiousity..

    If a Hacked rom is put onto a flash card, would a real game detect it for trading/ battling when connected??
     
    If some one changes the text in their ROM-hack that says

    Code: 
    POKEMON EMERBPEE01
...........r..........................................................................
pokemon emerald version.
    or similar,
    then no, you won't be able to trade Pokemon with other versions. An easy way to check if the ROMhacker changed this text is to load the ROM into EliteMap, or any hacking tool of Pokemon. If it works properly, they haven't changed a thing.
