playing pokemon again

    hello, i've decided to start playing pokemon again, (haven't played since silver and gold versions) and was wondering which one of the recent versions out there would be the best to buy? please explain why also. thanks!
     
    Emerald version because it has a lot of things in it and its way better than Ruby/Sapphire. The battle Frontier, Pokemon tents, animations and more. But its up to you.

    Emerald is definitely the best and the first game you should get. There is no comparison to what it can offer. That said, I would highly suggest that you work at getting LeafGreen as well. Those two games give you the best Pokes and the most fun. LG>FR because of the Pokes that you get.
