    Arceus and Shaymin aren't currently considered events because the only ones in existance are hacked. But Darkrai yes. Events are usually Pokémon with one or two strange attacks, and unusual OTs(i.e. PKTOPIA), IDs(i.e. 07077), and the new DP events have a ribbon called the "Classic Ribbon." You can find a thread with the list of legitimate events here. But yes, that's what he meant when he said events.
