Please help ASAP

Please can someone tell me how to remove an event COMPLETLY from the game after it's done an action. I'm trying to make someone go out of the room and stay out.But when I go back in the room hes there again.

I don't think you can delete an event but you can use switches to make whoever is in the house disappear :\
