3rd Gen Please Help ASAP

Hey, I have bought an new GBA FireRed, and it came today. I need to complete it for tommorow the Mew event. However it appers that the game us a USA version not and Europe version.

Will this game still work, when I go to the Mew event? Can EU and US games trade. I know the games real, but I didn't know it was a US version.

Please help ASAP.

Mew Event... What Mew Event, have I missed something?

There is a Mew event in the UK, however I bought an new game and it is a US version. Its with Cartoon Network, Nintendo, and Toys R Us.
