I have AVG virus protection always on and windows XP firewall enabled.
Why do I still get infected with some Trojan horses?
I check for updates every day so I am sure I am up to date.

Probably because AVG is a well known virus poor anti-virus protection, I'd suggest switching to anti avira premium (though it's a paid program, just uninstall it completely, like all it's settings and etc before the trial runs out. Reinstall it with different details, fake email etc to use it again for another 30days)

But if you don't feel like switching, use an online virus scanner like eset's online scanner, it should do the job.

Stop downloading teh pr0n and just view it via FireFox

Find the name of the trojan horse and Google a specific program to remove it. Any one will do, really, just make sure it's made by a reputable anti-virus company (AVG, Norton, and McAfee are fine, too).
