4th Gen Please Help with SID

    I am trying to RNG my first shinys, and everything seems to go perfectly. I get the correct nature, ability, and gender, but the pokemon is not shiny. All the troubleshooting I have says that I have entered an incorrect SID.
    I have 2 natural shinies :
    Modest magikarp with IVs 15/16/7/4/18/24 (Modest... ain't that a kick in the pants...)
    Gentle Starly with IVs 13/5/3/11/31/20
    There are 3 possible SIDs for starly and 2 for magikarp. They have one match, which I calculate out to be ID#21360.
    My trainer ID is 08657

    Can anyone verify these numbers and tell me what I am doing wrong?

    No STD (that I know of...)
    Just an irritating problem. It would help if I really knew what I was doing in the first place.
     
    So I see, I am actually in the same position as you are. Have you tried the Smogom guide?
     
    I've gone over it and over it. I think my problem is with my SID.
    I'm not very good with binary code and you need too much of it to get your SID.
     
    I'll tell you what, I'll actually find it for you. But I warn you they may not work.
     
    I got a little help from a number cruncher on another message board who got my correct SID...
    And now I am looking at a shiny charmander!
     
    Can you please tell me who the number cruncher is Edgaar?
     
    The number cruncher was someone on the gamefaqs Pokemon Platinum Number Crunchers Guild named Tealdeer.
