This is an In-Game team (FRLG)

I am attempting to build a non-legendary team to beat my friend's uber-legendary team. I know there are some major flaws (especially in movesets), so any help is appreciated

    Aerodactyl (M) @ ????
    Trait: Rock Head
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Jolly Nature (+Speed, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Take Down
    - Aerial Ace
    - Ancient Power

    Charizard (M) @ Charcoal
    Trait: Blaze
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
    - Flamethrower
    - Fire Spin
    - Blast Burn
    - Body Slam
    (Yes, my moveset sucks)

    Lapras (M) @ NeverMeltIce
    Trait: Water Absorb
    EVs: 252 Atk / 32 HP / 224 Def
    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
    - Ice Beam
    - Body Slam
    - Hydro Pump
    - Confuse Ray

    Snorlax (M) @ Quick Claw
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Body Slam
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

    Exeggutor (M) @ ????
    Trait: Cholorphyll
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 SDef / 4 Def
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Giga Drain
    - Psychic
    - Sleep Powder
    - Solar Beam

    Electabuzz (M) @ Soothe Bell
    Trait: Static
    EVs: 216 Spd / 146 Atk / 146 SAtk
    Rash Nature (+SAtk, -Sdef)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Cross Chop
    - Ice Punch
    - Fire Punch

As you can see, I need some help. Unfortunately, I can't give all 6 of them Leftovers, which is why I have the other Hold Items. Other than that, I'm willing to change anything!

I am attempting to build a non-legendary team to beat my friend's uber-legendary team. I know there are some major flaws (especially in movesets), so any help is appreciated

    Aerodactyl (M) @ Choice Band
    Trait: Rock Head
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Jolly Nature (+Speed, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Double-Edge
    - Aerial Ace
    - Rock Slide

Rock Slide > Ancientpower. Double-Edge>Take Down

    Charizard (M) @ Charcoal
    Trait: Blaze
    EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
    - Flamethrower
    - Swords Dance/Belly Drum/Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Aerial Ace
    (Yes, my moveset sucks)
Yes it does. Try leftovers or Salac Berry

    Lapras (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Water Absorb
    EVs: 188 HP / 200 Def / 120 SAtk
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hydro Pump/Surf/Rest/Sing/Confuse Ray
    - Rest/Sing/Confuse Ray

    It's better using special attacks

    Snorlax (M) @ Quick Claw
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Body Slam
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

ugh. I hate quick Claw. Leftover will serve better for this purpose though. Try to worry more about SDef than Satk, as Snorlax clocks in as a special sponge.

    Exeggutor (M) @ Petaya Berry/Leftovers
    Trait: Cholorphyll
    EVs: 4HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Sunny Day
    - Psychic/Explosion
    - Sleep Powder
    - Solar Beam
Solar Beam must be used with Sunny Day. Otherwise it fails. Exeggutor with SDef EVs is pointless.

    Electabuzz (M) @ Soothe Bell
    Trait: Static
    EVs: 216 Spd / 146 Atk / 146 SAtk
    Rash Nature (+SAtk, -Sdef)
    - Thunderbolt
    - Cross Chop
    - Ice Punch
    - Fire Punch

I'm not touching this one, as some like it offensive, some like it a little more defensive; I'm the latter

As you can see, I need some help. Unfortunately, I can't give all 6 of them Leftovers, which is why I have the other Hold Items. Other than that, I'm willing to change anything!

You definitely aren't going to beat ubers with Charizard. If you really want to have fun with ubers, use T-Wave Blissey:

    Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
    Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
    - Aromatherapy
    - Seismic Toss
    - Softboiled
    - Thunder Wave

It usually calls for max defense and Bold Nature, but when dealing with ubers, this is what you want.

Uber team eh? Good luck with that, especially with some of the Pokemon you chose here.

Synchronize suggested some standard movesets, but even those won't help you too much against powerhouses like Kyogre, Groudon, Mewtwo, etc. You need specific Pokemon to counter them, based on the Pokemon's traits and typing.

Now let's look at specific Pokemon that can counter each of the ubers:

Kyogre - Lanturn with Volt Absorb and Quagsire with Water Absorb. Both are resistant to Kyogre's strongest attacks – Surf/Hydro Pump and Thunder. Lanturn also resists Ice Beam, but it cannot be found in FRLG, so you'll need a Quagsire with plenty of special defense. NONE of the Pokemon on your team can take on Kyogre as of now. With Hydro Pump, it kills Snorlax in 2 hits even if Snorlax has max HP and Special Defense. Electabuzz can't finish Kyogre even with Thunder because Kyogre's special defense is so high. Your other choice besides Quagsire is Blissey, who can defend against other special attackers, but even Blissey can't do much to Kyogre if it starts using Calm Mind.

Groudon - Exeggutor is the only FRLG Pokemon that can truly counter Groudon. Other Grass Pokemon with Chlorophyll, like Victreebel and Tangela, can as well but they aren't as good as Eggy. And besides, you already have an Eggy on your team. With one Solarbeam, Groudon is gone.

Rayquaza – Any Pokemon with good defenses, high special attack, and Ice Beam. The nice thing is that you already have Lapras, which fits in all of these categories. Lapras kills Rayquaza with once Ice Beam and also gives other ubers trouble, like Groudon or Latios/Latias.

Mewtwo – This guy is really tough to counter. It learns fighting attacks as well as special moves, so Snorlax and Blissey will be in trouble if that happens. They're still a good bet if your friend uses only a special-attacking Mewtwo, but again, they won't be able to stand up to a couple of Calm Minded Psychic blasts, Try to paralyze it, then finish it off with strong physical moves.

Mew – Mew has the lowest stats of all the ubers, but learns the most moves so it's entirely unpredictable. Will it attack physically, specially, both, or will it try to support its teammates with moves like Thunder Wave or Reflect? Find out its moveset as quickly as possible and get a good Pokemon to counter it.

Latios/Latias – These two are at their worst with Soul Dew, but it's very hard to get it without cheating, so hopefully they won't have that item. If they don't, Lapras can handle them and Snorlax can hit them with Body Slam (and hopefully paralyze). Watch out for their Calm Mind and Recover. They're much tougher to take down than Rayquaza.

Ho-oh – You'll have a heck of a time defeating Ho-Oh if your friend has both this AND Groudon, since Ho-oh is best in the sun. Make sure to save your Aerodactyl in case this bird appears. One Rock Slide will KO it. But watch out that it's Sacred Fire doesn't burn you.

Lugia – Lugia isn't that strong, but it is TOUGH. With huge defenses and Recover, it'll be very tough to take down. You can try to stall it with Snorlax, but sooner or later Snorlax's PP will run out due to Lugia's Pressure trait. Exeggutor can Sleep Powder it, but make sure the weather is Sunny or else Lugia will be faster and kill you with an Aeroblast. Good luck defeating it if it pops up.

Deoxys – Depends on what game your friend is playing. Normal and Attack Deoxys can ruin your team if they're played right. However, their low defenses mean a first strike move like Quick Attack, Fake Out, or Extremespeed can KO them (maybe). Or you can hope that Aerodactyl is fast enough to outrun them (not likely but it may be worth a shot).
Defense Deoxys is a different story. It's easier to handle than Lugia, since its attacks aren't as strong, but it's still tough to defeat. One thing you can do is get an Alakazam with Choice Band and Trick it onto Deoxys, making it only be able to use one move at a time.

I wish you good luck in your battle. Tell us how it goes! :)

    Aragorn, I'm homeless.
    I've got 3 kids.
    My wife needs surgery.

btw, I think he was trying to build a non-legendary/uber team so, i was clueless on what else to say.

Aww, we can still rate teams together. :)
It just that I'm on the internet for like 8 hours a day cause I've got nothing better to do.

Well I'm gonna have to tell you that its currently wrecking the majority of my life, so cut it down to just a few hours, college boy

sorry I wasn't more clear. You guys are both right, in a way. What I'm trying to do is prove that you can still have a good, effective team without using any legendaries. But, since my friend relies heavily on legendaries, any info on how to beat them is also helpful. I know it centers around Kyogre, and he also uses Rayquaza, and at least one other.

Team-rating is the majority of your life, eh?
Fine, fine, I guess I can always spend time in the Art forum.

Also, Wayward Son, since your friend concentrates on Kyogre, that means you need to replace a member of your team with Quagsire or Blissey (hint: choose Blissey, it can defend against more than just Kyogre and heals your entire team too). Replace Electabuzz with it, since Buzz does the least for this team and can't stand up against ubers (unless it can outrun Rayquaza and Ice Punch it, but even that's situtational). Charizard also doesn't do much. You can probably replace it with Trick+Choice Band Alakazam, as it ruins any special attackers it comes across.
Another choice is Heracross, who with Megahorn can deal tons of damage to Psychic types and even defeat them with one hit. Too bad it isn't faster. If you ever get Salac Berry, use it on Cross.
You don't have many other choices for countering ubers with non-legends if you're limited to FRLG. Some other good Pokemon like Metagross and even Shedinja are only found in R/S/E.

Best Kynoober counter - Qwilfish. Why, I hear you ask? Simple, Kyogre + Drizzle makes anything with Swift Swim double their speed, and since a fast enough Qwilfish can outspeed Kyogre, have it use Destiny Bond. It'll go a little something like this...

    Uber trainer sends out Kyogre
Kyogre's Drizzle causes it to rain
    You send out Qwilfish
    Qwilfish uses Destiny Bond
    Kyogre uses Thunder
    Qwilfish faints
Kyogre faints due to Destiny Bond
    End of Kynoobar

    Simple enough, ya?

Ok, you'd be sacrificing your own pokemon when you do that, plus what id kyogre used thunder on the switch... Bye Bye Qwilfish, You need to bring some sort of a special wall that can handle kyogre, not a destiny bonder with low defences on the switch

Yes, but it's the surprise factor that makes this work.

I doubt Kyogre would lead off with Thunder, unless it's currently facing a flying or water type, or unless he's seen how you play already.
