Hi I'm COMPLETELY new to competitive battling, and was wondering if this is a decent team. I don't have a spiker or stealth rocker, and wanted to know if it is possible to not have one.

    Venusaur @ Leftovers
    Bold
    EVs: 252HP/252 Sp.Def/4Speed
    -Sleep Powder
    -Leech Seed
    -Grass Knot
    -Sludge Bomb

    Blastoise @ Leftovers
    Calm
    EVs: 252Sp.Def/252Def/4HP
    -Surf
    -Rest
    -Rapid Spin
    -Sleep Talk

    Charizard @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    EVs: 252Atk/4Def/252Speed
    -Flamethrower
    -Hidden Power Grass
    -Focus Blast
    -Dragon Pulse

    Heracross @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    EVs: 104HP/252Atk/152Speed
    -Megahorn
    -Close Combat
    -Stone Edge
    -Pursuit

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Bold
    EVs: 148HP/252Def/104Sp.Atk/4Speed
    -Ice Beam
    -Seismic Toss
    -Aromatherapy
    -Softboiled

    Weezing @ Leftovers

    -Haze

You never need a SRer or Spiker. They're cool to have, but only if you have room or have a desire to have one on your team. Stall teams and whatnot need them though, but seeing charizard I know this is no stall team :P

By the way, I think that Charizard wants choice SPECS. A Choice Band only will boost physical attacks. Choice Specs will boost special attacks, so that's what you'll want. the EBs are pretty messy, so somebody else can do those.

One other quick note...Resttalk with Rapid Spin probably isn't a good idea on Blastoise. I would get rid of sleep Talk for Ice Beam (pesky dragons!) or Toxic. roar is also an option...Blastoise has some cool moves to work with.

Instead of sleep Talk put Mirror Coat/Toxic on Blastoise.

On charizard, I prefer Rock Slide over HP grass.

Adamant, with all special attacks, and a Choice Band? Really? Just make it Modest, or better yet, Timid, and give it Specs. He has no use for Rock Slide at all.

Haha I didnt notice that he was Cbanded with all special...

Yeah- Make the Charizard Modest or Timid. And dont use rock slide if you're going with those moves.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions. I now have Blastoise with: Surf, Roar, Rapid Spin, and Toxic. Is that good? Also, Anti-Pop, you said my "EBs" are messed up. By that do you mean EVs? And what is wrong with them. I really want this to be a good team. Also, the only thing I changed on Charizard is his his Nature to Timid and his item to Choice Specs. Is This okay? Thanks!

    -Sludge Bomb
Nice,i take it this a mixed annoyer/tank?How about putting a Giga Drain in there? It does good damage on light pokes too.

    Blastoise @ Leftovers
    Calm
    EVs: 252Sp.Def/252Def/4HP
    -Surf
    -Rest
    -Rapid Spin
    -Sleep Talk
Good, but get a Brine,Ice Beam or Blizzard in there

    Charizard @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    EVs: 252Atk/4Def/252Speed
    -Flamethrower
    -Hidden Power Grass
    -Focus Blast
    -Dragon Pulse
Drop the choice band,if you've used flamethrower and then a dragon comes out, what r u gonna do? You'll have to switch out,so your opponent will have time to use a stat raising move, or just wipe the pokemon you send out.Nice moveset.

    Heracross @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    EVs: 104HP/252Atk/152Speed
    -Megahorn
    -Close Combat
    -Stone Edge
    -Pursuit
Good moves overall, but howsabout a Night Slash instead of Pursuit, that way you stand a slight chance against Alakazam. Drop Choice Band, try a shell bell,as you're going to be doing a lot of hitting and not much recovering,Shell Bell lets you do both.

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Bold
    EVs: 148HP/252Def/104Sp.Atk/4Speed
    -Ice Beam
    -Seismic Toss
    -Aromatherapy
    -Softboiled
Why does everyone use Seismic Toss? You don't have an EQ user, and although i don't use EQ much,it does help.

    Weezing @ Leftovers
    Bold
    EVs: 252HP/252Def/4Speed
    -Sludge Bomb
    -Will-O-Wisp
    -Haze
    -Pain Split[/quote]
Nice.Drop the speed EVs and work on some sp.atk and sp.def to strenghten up Sludge Bomb.

My comments are in blue.Don't be offended if you like how you've raised them and i've opposed that, just choice bands etc. don't help if you try to take on 2 totally different pokemon. Nice Charizard.

I'm sorry, but when does Earthquake ever do more than 100 damage on a pokemon with a base attack stat of 10? Seismic toss guarantees 100 damage.

Anyway, back to the rate, comments in bold

    Venusaur @ Leftovers/Black Sludge

Seems fine, I don't particularly like Venusaur, but it's up to you.
Consider Black Sludge for Trick users

    Modest/Timid
    EVs: 252Sp.A/4Def/252Speed

Lowering Sp.A on a Special Moveset, what?!

    Sure..

For a first team, you are using many UUs, which isn't usually advisable, I suggest making an OU team and getting used to that metagame, before you encorporate UUs into your battles.

Um, no, make your own thread. Also, color makes it impossible to rate. Thanks.

Um Itachi, that's just the team in the first post without quoting tags ._. While I disagree with the rate I would really...read that post again. It should be obvious it's a rating...who offers advice to themselves? 0_o

Anyways, the kanto starter theme should probably go. I would also take Ice Beam off of Blissey, it doesn't really do anything that great to help it IMO.

No, it really doesn't. I'm a smart guy and I have no idea what you're talking about >.>

Anyways, I would run the generic 40 HP / 252 Def / 216 SDef EV spread with a Bold or Calm Nature.

I would replace Charizard with a rock resist...that would help. Charizard doesn't really do much for this team IMO.

    Blissey @ Leftovers

    -Ice Beam
    -Seismic Toss
    -Aromatherapy
    -Softboiled

THESE EVS... THEY TASTE LIKE SMOGON.

I can understand using Smogon as a reference- when I started, my team was Smogon copypasta. However, the important thing to know when using Smogon as a resource is why they use the EVs and sets that they do. For example, on that set, Blissey is given Speed EVs to outspeed other Blisseys while Singing. Naturally, that's retarded on your set, as you don't have Sing, and Sing sucks on her anyhow. As for the rest of the set- I never cared much for both Ice Beam and Seismic Toss. I'd prefer Thunder Wave or Toxic to on of them.

Another important thing about Smogon is that it hasn't updated its Strategy Dex since the release of Diamond and Pearl- new sets have come out since then, such as the new Calm Blissey that's all the rage with kids these days. I don't know the exact set, however.

Lastly, I would scrap the three starters that make up half your team. Since you're just starting out, I can understand wanting to use your favorites- it's for that reason that it's a bad idea to use them. Those three are UU (Charizard might be BL, I can't be bothered to check), and are hard to use- they're best left to experienced players (no offense). Replace them with some OUs and you should be good to go. At this point, it's probably best for you to start battling on Shoddy and learn more about battling itself.

Um, no, make your own thread. Also, color makes it impossible to rate. Thanks.

    Oh Itachi, always the kidder...

I am knowledgeable as well, thank you very much.

But, I will just let this argument die. That would be the wise thing to do now.
