    i was thinking, you should be aloud to have attachments on pms. sometimes, when you want to send somthing to someone in a pm, but it isn't a picture or video, but a download, you can't, unless it is a link to a website that has it, and if you made it, and don't want others to see it, then that doesn't work that well either.
     
    Just use stuff like dropbox, that way only people you know will be able to use the links. But I'm pretty sure you can send attachments via PM.
     
    MediaFire is good for this, as you can set the links to private so no one else can see them, unless you give them the URL.

    Doubt there will be an attachment added onto the PM's, as that will take up a lot of space in the PM box and stress the servers if everyone is sending HUGE PM's.

    Nice idea though.
     
    well, i thought about this, so you wouldn't have to have links to other websites, because if you aren't a member, and a lot of people are on that site, than you can't get on. i know this because this is how i've got 2 map files. it took a week each to find a time when the servers weren't full.

    Well, membership with MediaFire is free, you just quickly sign up and then anyone, even people who aren't members, can download from the links you give them with no restriction.

    As much as it would be more convenient to have an attach system on here, I don't think it will catch on. The server is already under a lot of traffic pressure. :/
