On PMD1, I had a Squirtle and my partner was a Pikachu. Though I really wanted to be a Pikachu, back then... Don't ask me why... I just wanted to be a Pikachu. ^^;; And that Starter's name would be my first name, Danny.

Probably eevee, it's just awesome! =D I would probably name it Hikaru if it was a guy, and Hoshiko if it were a girl.
