PMD2: Trip Trap Glitch?

    You guys all know about the traps that you step on called Trip Traps, right? If not, thery're traps that make you drop your hold item when stepped on.

    Anyway, I stepped on one while I was facing a wall. It didn't show that I dropped my item, but it disappeared from my inventory. Is this some kind of glitch or something?
     
    That's weird... I don't think that's ever happen to me. The worst TT experience I had was that my Golden Mask fell into a pool of water... and my lack of water character made me inable to get it back... sob.
     
    It's possible the game misread the floor panel or wall as a hole, and it fell trough. (Then again, I don't even know if holes still exist in PMD2.)

    Either that, or a really one-off bug.
