    Monotype Project

Welcome to The PokéCommunity's Monotype Project! What we hope to do here is create an awareness about this format since it's gaining popularity. We'll discuss three types during a span of two weeks in detail. The first post will provide all the necessary information like the viability list, type weaknesses and Pokemon that would suit very well on a team. You guys can discuss the type in general, strategies, what Pokemon or cores do really well and possibly post a team with a short description as to what it does. Not only will this help people who are getting into the format for the first time, but the discussions will also give ideas to those who have already been playing this format.

The schedule for the project is as follows and will start from January 12th.

    Spoiler:

It is encouraged that everyone joins for each type so that after the project you will have a perspective and mindset of a monotype EXPERT!

Hope to see you all during the project, also do not worry if you think you do not know anything about the format since we are all here to learn and help each other.

P.S, each person can take up and build any or all types chosen during the on-going rounds to build a team around.

OK so gonna post about breloom which is one of the fighting type Pokemon and the set I use is -

    (Breloom) @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Technician
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Bullet Seed
    - Mach Punch
    - Spore
    - Rock Tomb

So starting up, breloom is a grass/fighting pokemon which has main weakness with flying, fire and psychic, so I use focus sash on it to prevent a one hit death first of all and then there is spore which can put opponent to sleep and then is rock tomb which kills flying, fire types and mach punch gets powerful which ability of technician and bullet seed manages water type pokemon. So let's discuss if we can make breloom more better which other item or set and what is the thing I am doing wrong here if any.
