    About​
    Pokémon Aquamarine takes place 12 years after the events in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. During these twelve years, many changes have taken place in Hoenn. The Hoenn Pokédex has gotten a lot of new entries, there are new Gym Leaders and a new Champion. In addition, there are new places to explore. You play as Caspian/Perrin/Zenith and begin in Littleroot Town. Professor May gives you a choice between Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip. Your goal is to find your lost sibling. Your rivals are Hyacin and Aspen. Team Zephyr is the main villain team of the game. They are a mysterious organization whose ultimate goal is connected to Rayquaza.

    Gameplay​
    • An expanded Hoenn Pokédex. There are more than 400 Pokémon in the game.​
    • New locations are introduced. ​
    • New Mega Evolutions are introduced.​
    • New moves are introduced.​
    • There are new characters as well returning characters.​
    • There are new side stories. In these side stories you can learn more about the characters in the game, obtain rare Pokémon and even teach unique moves to your Pokémon.​
    • Hidden Grottos are introduced. You can find Pokémon with Hidden Abilities and items in them, just like in Pokémon Black 2 & White 2.​
    • Seasons are introduced. They function in the same way as they did in Generation V.​
    • There is trainer customization in the game.​

    Not sure if this is a concept you're already working on or just brainstorming, but I'm always up for a well-thought-out sequel. I loved GSC and B2W2 and always wish we had some more direct continuity between games.

    One thing you could consider for the Hidden Grottos is to implement them in Secret Base Locations throughout the game. Since Fan Games generally tend to not have multiplayer content, and (in my opinion) the main point of the Secret Bases was to battle your friends avatars, it could be a cool story point.. "Secret Bases were generally outlawed" or something in the 12 years since ORAS, and the locations were mostly reclaimed by wild Pokémon... Eh. Just an idea. I always thought the Hidden Grottos had a similar internal graphic style to the Secret Bases of RSE, anyway.

    It's a concept that I'm already working on. I've had the idea for a while, but this year I'm actually working on it.

    I think that your idea with implementing Hidden Grottos in Secret Bases is interesting!
