gah! for some reason i couldnt remember its (pinsirs) name. onyx vs golem?

lugia, it can handle ho-ohs attacks w/ its massive def. then retun those w/ hydro pump or a STAB aeroblast
 
hmmm, i like Ho-Oh(mainly cause i could never get one in Crystal)but Lugia would win for sure, like 1 Hydro Pump, and he's gone
 
Ho-oh never really appealed to me; Lugia's name sounds so much calmer, and it has such a sleek design~ Although it really needs three types so it can be a Water / Psychic / Flying Pokemon. I mean, really, it's God of the Sea, yet it's not a Water Type.
 
Maybe they made Lugia a Psy, Flying type so that if you didn't know about lugia, the first impression would be that the 2 birds are equal...
 
I didn't say that, i just said that so in a first impression by looking at types, lugia wouldn't immediately ruin ho-oh's day when the person who has only one master ball doesn't know which to catch.
 
Oh, no I'm not cloning ever again!! last time I did that in gold and my save file corrupted, not only that, my mewtwo turned into a porygon named ????????????!!!
 
Ho-Oh has a better special attack and physical attack while Lugia has a better speed and physical defense.
So Lugia will most likely attack first with a surf/waterfall/etc!

Fair enough, but the glitch in Emerald is much easier and safer than previous ones. Heck, I can do it!
 
I cloned by accident in Gold/Silver.
I was having trouble in the first few gyms of Silver, so I decided to trade over my Ho-oh from Gold for my Tyrouge from Silver, just for some "assistance." One of my Game Boys was low on batteries. I died right in the middle of trading.
I had two Tyrouges >.<
