Turn back for Charmander We really need a pokemon to destory with.
 
A Change of Heart
You eventually crumble under the guilt. You decide to turn back for Charmander, whether the motives are pure or not. You try to head back, looking for the tree where the battle took place, but Charmander is no where to be seen. Hours pass. Night has fallen.

You finally find the tree, but no Pokémon around. But your bag is there. No food though. Your potions, items and exedra are there though.

YOU RE-OBTAINED YOUR BAG AND INVENTORY

You decide to lay out your sleeping bag and sleep under the tree for the night. You've lost a day, better make it up tomorrow.

. . . !!

You wake up in the middle of the night to a campfire. There's a girl there. The girl you saw opposing the main in the field!

"Hey. Sorry to wake you, but you're the one who owns the Charmander right? I can help you find him. Wanna come?" You don't really know what's going on, as you're half-asleep. What do you do?

You decide to put your trust in the girl and follow her. It's your only lead to Charmander.

"This trip will take awhile. We'll have to pass through Viridian City. I happen to have a map, so if we start now, we should reach Viridian by midday." You agree, and you two set out.

As you walk together for awhile, the sun begins to rise, and you finally get a good look at her.
