Information
My name is Sepia... I am here to present to you a hack of Pokémon Gold that I have been planning out for a while.
Pokémon Cobalt may take on the name of another hack (or be similar) but it is not.

I will mostly use this for planning and writing storylines.
Sometimes I will give you some screenshots though...

Ask questions or anything you like here.

Storyline
You are a young boy who starts in the region of Sinto (based on Sinnoh) where the clouds cover the sun almost all day.
You can say that it is the shadow version of Sinnoh.

The Sinto Region is quite big, but beautiful if seen in the light.
There are many Pokémon Trainers very eager to battle you...

Your hometown is Soleleaf Town. Your father is the champion of the Sinto Region so your dream (or what is called nightmares in Sinto) is to become a great and famous Pokémon Trainer just like your dad. So the path you take is your choice...

- New region... Sinto... the opposite world of Sinnoh.
- Complete new Pokémon from Sinnoh (387 to 493).

Did you get rid of a pokemon for Darkrai or did you use an empty slot. I'm itching to play this(subscribing to thread)

Yeah I got rid of a Pokémon... there is no point of using it if I do not use it. :P

Also I am giving you some small updates. ;)

No I won't make a new thread... I will just move this one. ;)
Oh and I removed Mankey. XD I don't think I will use the empty slots...

Yeah of course. I don't care who I am replacing because the Pokémon you will get are from Sinnoh.

You know that if you replace the unown you would have 26 free slots. because in gold and silver each unown is a different pokemon instead of being a ronom sprite. I think.

No, in GSC Unown is a single Pokémon. The letter it represents depends solely on the DVs of the Unown, just like its alternate color status does.

Yes but I will be using the Unown...
If you played Diamond or Pearl there is a cave with Unown in it.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of updates... I have been working on my forum Twilite Hacking which you can find in my signature. After I am done with updates for it I will get back to Cobalt and maybe have a screenshot ready for Route 201. :)

Right now I am also learning more hex editing and trying to learn how to do more things to manipulate any ROM GB/C ROM. I might also learn how to homebrew but that will take a long time. For now I am focusing on Cobalt. :D I hope that when I learn more hex editing and other stuff I will be able to show more impressive updates for Cobalt. :)
