7 years ago I started the Pokémon Balanced Edition series.
My goal? To make Pokémon hacks that balanced all of the Pokémon.

Over the years several games were added to the Balanced Edition series.

But not everyone was a fan of the Balanced Edition series. Some disliked the fact
that all Pokémon had the same BST of 600. Others disliked the fact that some Pokémon
had their stats changed in order to make them more unique. (An example of this happening
is Charizard and Typhlosion. In vanilla Pokémon they have the same Base Stats and Stat
    Distribution).

So for those people, I have a solution:
    The Pokémon CounterBalanced Editions!

Pokémon CounterBalanced aims to balance the game WHILE ALSO staying as faithful
to the original games as possible.

For CounterBalanced I developed a unique system for buffing Pokémon:

A Pokémon can receive up three buffs:

    1st Rank Based Buff

The Ranks used are directly from Smogon

    Ubers (no buffs)
OU +5 to one Stat (+10 for Ice/Grass/Poison/Bug Types)
UUBL +15 to one Stat (+20 for Ice/Grass/Poison/Bug Types)
UU +25 to one Stat (+30 for Ice/Grass/Poison/Bug Types)
NU +25 to 2 Stats and new move (+30 to 2 stats and a new move for Ice/Grass/Poison/Bug Types)
    NFE an Ability Replacement
LC +50 Speed and a New Move

    2nd Base Stat Based Buff

The Pokémon receives a buff based on its Base Stat Total

    Under 250 +35 all stats
    Under 300 +30 in 4 stats
    Under 350 +25 in 3 stats
    Under 400 +20 in 2 stats
    Under 450 +10 in 2 stats
    Under 500 +10 in 1 stat
Under 525 +5 in one stat

    3rd Supplementary Buff

Most Pokémon WON'T get this 3rd Buff Only two kinds of Pokémon Qualify:
Pokémon that are Middle Stage/Do not evolve (not including Legendaries) +5 All Stats
For Pokémon who's BST is under 400 +5 in all stats

Slakoth also gets its own bonus buff as well:
Truancy Bonus +15 to all of its stats

    Other Features include:
    All Pokémon are obtainable
Various Quality of Life features like Colored Stats
    Trade Evolutions are removed
    Moves have been adjusted
    Moves Like Ember have Priority
Moves like Thunder Wave/Sing have 66% Accuracy
Froslass is added to both games
New Icons and Sprites have been given to Most Pokémon
In Emerald Counterbalanced. New Icons are in Pokémon
    FireRed CounterBalanced

This hack is fun, I'm playing through Emerald and the only thing I kind of dislike is having to manually cancel evolutions. I'm planning to use some Pokémon I've never used before or just not evolve some Pokémon and see how they fare (there's just a single everstone in the game, and it should be even worse in FR since it's harder to obtain there).
Also there's a bug with the Bulk Up TM, it's displayed as single-use, unlike the rest.
But anyways, thank you for this, I can finally use Igglybuff/Jigglypuff without struggling. Jigglypuff is my favorite Pokémon so being able to use one in a playthrough without suffering is just great! (especially considering how early you can get Igglybuff)
