Haven't made a logo as yet.

The key that separates that distortion world from ours has broken. Rifts across the region have opened, sending people and Pokémon across both worlds. Legendary Pokémon have stormed the region searching for the pieces for their own motives.

Heavily inspired by Pokemon Reminiscencia, go check them out.

Story:​

You play as John, a sociopath who spends most of his time at home, until he gets visited by a very angry Darkrai, who can turn into a human? Together you search the region for all the key fragments trying to save the world.

After receiving your pokedex, I added the battle with Professor Mangrove.

As you travel route 1, you come across Clayton's farm, old man Clayton tells about some pesky Pokémon messing up his farm. The Distortion Brothers!

Meet the "Musician", "Farmer", "Spirit", "Outlaw" and "Kid"


I would recommend starting a new game, as I changed some stuff in the intro too.

Next update will take some time, as I have real life stuff to do.

Hi! I saw this game and decided to check it out.

I did have a bit of feedback to share, if that's okay:

• The lack of running or speedup made the game very slow to play. Navigating the wide, empty farm map in particular was a pain because of it. 😭
• The dialogue is littered with typos and poor grammar. It would probably be helpful to have someone proofread it.
• The game has almost no music at all, which makes the standard Essentials battle themes kind of jarring.
• There are no healing spots at all, meaning the only way to heal your mons is to either wipe and end up at your house or use Cacnea's Absorb/Leech Seed. Additionally, the only Potions in the entire game are only obtained after you've already beaten all of the bosses, and there are no overworld items or item shops to be found.
• Fighting Pokémon with Sand Veil and Poison Sting on a first route with permanent Sand, in addition to the lack of healing to offset the constant chip damage, was not an enjoyable experience.
• The Cacturne bosses are a bit of a level jump. My team was about Lv9-10 going in and I ended up grinding to Lv12 to beat them. Grinding was also particularly annoying due to the previous point.
• The Professor battle may be unwinnable? I picked Weedle, and even with Intimidate on my side, I still got 2-shotted by Flabébé's Mach Punch while doing no damage in return due to all of my attacks being resisted. (Intimidate is also a crazy ability to put on a starter, especially as a 50/50 with something less useful.)
• Improved type variety would be nice. Most of the opponents were Ground types and so that made Cacnea pretty overpowered.
• There is no way to check moves through the Summary menu. After the EVs tab, it scrolls back to the first page.

Though, I think the game has a lot of potential. I really did like the designs of the distorted Pokémon, and the setting was pretty cool as well. I look forward to seeing where this game goes, and I'd love to play more once there's more content.
