Pokémon Dreams

It's likely that you have had at least ONE dream of Pokémon, if you didn't then I am praying to Arceus for you. This thread is NOT directed towards the anime or manga, it's directed towards the games.

I've had quite a few many Pokémon dreams... One of the earliest I remember was a dream of Gastly-like creature appearing in a door way of an old house I used to live in. I was lying in a bed and I saw a Gastly-like creature appear in the door way and it looked at me and spikes popped out of it. (I believe it was similar to the ants from Super Mario Land 2).

I remember a dream in like 2007, where I was playing Pokémon Emerald (or what I thought was Emerald, I had never played it or R/S at all before). I remember being in a city and walking to a forest which had a library in it.

I had another Pokémon Emerald dream (this time I had actually played it), where I was walking on those islands near Dewford Town.

I remember a dream where I was in Sprout Tower, either hiding from someone or just simply exploring.

I have had MANY dreams of new Pokémon. I remember one dream where I was surfing or fishing in Mt Mortar (most of these dreams were GSC) and I had come across a pink duck Pokémon, a small red newt/eel-like Pokémon and just last night I had a dream of myself remembering Dragon Quest VII (though these monsters and apparent storyline aren't even in the game) and I was remembering going deep underwater, to the deep sea floor and coming across many scary sea creatures and I have dreamed of scary sea creatures as Pokémon.

In 2011, before the release of Pokémon Black and White, I remember dreaming of this fairy tale village (take Laverre City, Pokémon HG/SS tileset and sprites and Dragon Quest's quirky villages and you've got it). I remember walking into this house made out of a tree and talking to an old man.

Again, in 2011 before the release of Pokémon Black and White, I dreamed of Castelia City and one of the docks was made up of a few ramps going down.

Are you part of the game in your dreams? I've never had dreams like that about Pokemon despite it being my favourite game series. I've been playing Pokemon briefly in them, but it's never been the sole focus. I've had more prominent dreams about other games (mainly GTA for some reason.)

I used to have glitch-related nightmares all the time for a couple of months back when RBY were popular. I introduced several of my classmates to the Missingno glitch, and some of them got so into catching various glitch-related Pokemon that they screwed up their files and ultimately had to start over. At the time, I was scared that they would trade me their glitch Pokemon and ruin my save file. One dream I remember is where I was up on this cloud (I think I was red, it kind of looked like the environment was made up of sprites), surrounded by these trainers. One challenged me to a battle, and used this glitch wolf Pokemon (I was really scared of wolves). I tumbled out of the clouds towards the ground, and was terrified for my game when I first woke up.

I've had some other dreams about Pokemon over the years, though the RBY glitch ones were the most vivid, and the most memorable. As for other dreams involving Pokemon, I had a dream related to this forum (or a similar, unspecified Pokemon forum) a couple nights ago, if that counts. I don't remember the details, but it had to do with being found out about something (legally related maybe? It wasn't really clear from the dream, didn't have much to do with Pokemon besides a Pokemon forum being relevant, and didn't make much sense).

I had a dream last night of playing X and Y (I think I was in the game and it was much different) and I was walking around Kalos (or what I think was Kalos) and I remember going to a city similar to Lumiose/Castelia City and seeing an advertisement for a region starting with "M" (It showed a small video of a coastal region, saying "visit this region") I then worked out that it must have been the new region in Sun and Moon.
