i spoke to everyone inside and outside, nothing happens

Try looking in a sacred place.

So far I'm really enjoying the game and apart from my starter I have a full beta-team: Quilava, Bellboyant, Numpuff, Peritop, Gelanla and I'm waiting for Warwolf. I'm most surprised by Peritop because her best attack is still Tackle, but with the gained normal-type and Technician it does serious damage. However, I must say, I have a bit of an ability-fetish, so I have two suggestions for improvement: I took a Rinring with Run Away on purpose because most Pokemon having it, get a different ability, when they evolve, since it's a typical ability for very weak unevolved Pokis, but unfortunately it stayed. The same thing applied to Qwilfish with Poison Point, i thought, if it becomes Electric instead of Poison, it'll probably get an abilty like Volt Absorb or Motor Drive. So my suggestions are, that Numpuff should get an electric-ability like the ones I've said instead of Poison Point and Bellboyant should get a stronger cat-ability like Limber instead of Run Away, since three cats have Limber: Persian, Glameow and Liepard. What do you say?

    I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Thank you for these suggestions on abilities! I've made a note for myself not just for the two lines suggested but also some others for a potential sequel to this if I get the chance to work on it.

I really like, what you did with the whirl islands, and am excited for the closed parts of the alph ruins. Those two areas had so much wasted potential in the main games, that it's heartwarming to see them so lively. However, I want to give further suggestions for improvement for movesets and moves: I trained my Numpuff to level 50 and it still haven't learned any electric moves and I even checked the Move Maniac. It can only learn Thunderbolt by TM and it's not only extremely expensive in the casino, but also special and Numpuff needs physical moves like Spark or Volt Tackle. Personally, but that is just my taste, I would give Numpuff the ability Rock Head instead of Poison Point and let it learn Wild Charge on about level 40, since Volt Tackle would be op with Rock Head. Furthermore, I think that Ice Punch would fit way better to Warwolf than Ice Fang, since I can't even see any mouth, but arms with huge frozen claws. Moreover, Peritop should be able to learn Low Sweep or at least give the TM for it early in the game like in the Goldenrod Department Store, since normally Brick Break is better, but with Technician Low Sweep is king. Is the TM even in the game? Finally, Bellboyant should be able to learn Psyshock, since it learn Psybeam by level up, I don't know, if Psychic is compatible though. What do you say?

loved it from the beginning to the end

Thank you! I'm very glad you enjoyed it! I hope very much you'll give the sequel a shot once I am able to work on it. 😄

Thank you for these suggestions! I'm adding these notes to myself as they will be extremely helpful when it comes to potential sequel. Very good point on Warwolf too, I'm going to make a special note to consider giving it a signature move. Something new and similar to Ice Punch but with claws.

Not sure about the TM. I kept a check list for everything BUT those, won't have that happen again.

I had considered making Bellboyant Dark/Psychic type but I wasn't sure. What's your opinion on that?

I'm also really glad you picked up on the mystery surrounding those sealed off parts of the ruins!

To be honest, I think, Fairy would fit best as a secondary type, I just haven't suggested it because it's not in the game. Also instead of the ability Run Away it could have Prankster then, since most Pokemon with Prankster are Dark or Fairy or both like one of my favorite Pokemon, Grimmsnarl.

Dark and Fairy... I like it!

May I ask, If you could add a Move Tutor to this game, maybe late-game in Blackthorn City, who wants Heart Scales and can learn things like the elemental punches, Low Sweep, Drain Punch, Wild Charge, Volt Tackle, Icicle Crash, Giga Drain, Flame Charge, Dark Aura, Hyper Voice, Power Gem and such things, that aren't accessible via TM, but would be extremely helpful for the league and all that? As mentioned, Warwolf with Ice Punch or Icicle Crash would be way better than with Ice Fang, which is its best attack by now, and Numpuff with Wild Charge or even Volt Tackle would be way better than just with Thunderbolt, since its attack is way higher. I would really appreciate that, but I understand of course, if you don't have the time or so. And if you want, I could make you a list of about 2-3 moves for every type, so that you don't have to do that. ;)

I probably won't have time for this one but I'll definitely appreciate suggestions for those 2-3 moves for sequel, can message to me if you prefer. Wanting to work on that before things get too crazy. I'm in the middle of the adoption process for a 2/3yr old boy so each day there's a tiny bit more chaos 😅

Oh, interesting, so that means you're probably over 30 years old, maybe even around 40? You know, it's really nice to hear, that someone your age not only enjoys playing Pokemon, but even makes his own fan game, I'm 23 and my parents don't understand, why I am still playing "that game for kids". However, here's the list:

Normal: Hyper Voice, Return, Sword Dance, Substitute, Pain Split, Heal Bell
Feuer: Fire Punch, Flame Charge, Flare Blitz
    Wasser: Brine, Hydro Pump
Elektro: Thunder Punch, Volt Switch, Wild Charge, Volt Tackle
Pflanze: Giga Drain, Leaf Blade, Synthesis, Aromatherapy
    Flug: Acrobatics, Air Slash, Roost
Käfer: Bug Buzz, U-Turn, Mega Horn
Gift: Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Toxic Spikes
Gestein: Power Gem, Stone Edge, Rock Blast, Rock Polish
    Boden: Earth Power, Spikes
Kampf: Low Sweep, Drain Punch, Focus Blast
Eis: Ice Punch, Avalanche, Icicle Crash
Psycho: Zen Headbutt, Dream Eater, Calm Mind, Agility, Cosmic Power
    Geist: Shadow Claw, Hex, Curse
Drache: Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail, Draco Meteor, Dragon Dance
Unlicht: Dark Aura, Sucker Punch, Crunch, Thief, Nasty Plot
Stahl: Iron Head, Heavy Slam, Iron Defense

I haven't played through the whole game yet, so maybe some of the moves are TMs, I just cut out the ones I have and assumed, that Psychic, Toxic and Rock Slide are in the game. ;)

Thank you for this! Adding it to my notes now.

I didn't start playing until the end of Gen 3, had no interest in it really until I played Smash Bros. Melee and read some of the interesting trophies about Johto and the mythology involved. I remember when Red/Blue came out and I avoided everyone who played it, thought it was dumb. Man, I missed out!

    I'm actually 27 though 😂

Hey! I downloaded this game a couple days ago and absolutely love it! Amazing job man, for reals! I'm stuck with the post-game though, and was wondering if I could get a hint maybe? The second master in the Whirl Islands said the next one, Darach, has been in a dark place and isn't up for chit-chat. I checked the Dark Cave but he wasn't there. Anything you could give me?
Great job on this again! Favorite Poke game I've ever played!

So I played through the game and it was absolutely great, now I totally want a sequel in the Shinto Region! However, may I ask you, if the thing about the evil mother of Logan, whose job was to safe children from bad parents, is a true story? Also is the masked man related to the story, since that man outside the league said, that the evil mother forced Logan to live with a strange man and other kids with a bad past, which would fit to the masked man and his child-servants? Also should Asami portray that evil mother? And furthermore, does it mean something, that Whitney looks like Logan? It's fine, if you don't wanna talk about it, but I'm obviously curious. ;)

I wish we had a spreadsheet for the beta pokemon so we know what their base stats are. I got a fairly good idea of what Kotoro's stats are from catching a few of them though it'd help to have more information overall plus learnsets.

BTW, are the Kanto starters available at all in this? I know the game is Johto specific but I was wondering since I have a good team idea in mind but I can make due if that isnt the case.

Also theres an issue with hitboxes on certain things, for example a potted plant blocks a item in Sprout Tower and the cliff wall blocks a piller in the ruins of alph making it impossible to read.

I'm very glad you enjoyed it! Actually working on some things for Shinto now since I had a day off.

Every word of the man's story in Silver Town regarding Logan is real-world truth, sadly. I included these things in hopes that if he is actually alive and some day played this game, that he would see it and know we are still hoping, even after almost two years now, that he'll find a way to us from wherever he may be.

But it's not related to the Masked Man, that's more of a nod toward Will, Karen and Ariana's story from the manga piece I read a while back. Oddly enough, the stories are similar now that you mention it. Though I can say with certainty, being a servant to that guy is a paradise compared to what dear Logan went through.

I don't understand the part about Whitney and Logan? For Asami though, she is not based on the evil mother. That would take a lot of darkness and the memories it would revive would not be good for my psychological health.
