Emerald hack: Pokémon Emerald Horizons - Emerald Difficulty Hack [Complete, v1.15 ft. New Rocket Storyline, Boss Gauntlet, Gen 1-8, Side Quests, and QoL features]

Hi @BrandonXL, your hack is amazing although I don't know why after I beat Jotaro and got the shiny charm I can't catch new Pokémon, every Pokémon I find are all treated like they are matches with another trainers, even the ones I found with the dexnav. Do you know if there is a way to fix that?

Hi is every legendary pokemon in the game or just the one in notes If so got a list of all of them findable ?

Hm, I'm unable to reproduce that; another player who happened to just beat Jotaro is also unable to reproduce that. It could be a number of things:
1) The type of emulator you're using; some of them are not as accurate and produce inconsistent gameplay
2) Using cheats of any kind
3) Not patching an Emerald Trashman, but I assume you must've done this since I don't think you would've made it to Lilycove
4) Legitimately just some weird error/accident

I would lean towards the first one, but the fourth one is also a possibility.

Most of them are actually bought from the Battle Frontier, but there's a good amount of them in the overworld. All legendaries are obtainable, though.

Thank you for your answer @BrandonXL, I'm using myboy, so I'll try with another emulator.
Edit: I've tried with mgba and I still have that problem.
In that case is the 4) so I'll start a new save and if that happens again, then I'll post about it

Have you got a list of locations please

Hi, I've been playing this rom hack for a bit now and for some reason the DexNav button has disappeared from my menu, which I assume was from me messing with some codes like walkthrough walls to see if it would work but I only noticed a couple days later that I had lost the DexNav feature.
Any way to get it back?

Challenge mode was fun for the E4.

I found the challenge of the boss fights fun, but found the fact that every trainer in the world scales to your level and that there are so many of them is just annoying and requires you to return to the PokeCenter way too often. Felt quite bad, especially in the mid / late game. (Even with the vial).

Solid game, but I wont be playing it again unless there is a way to turn off the regular trainer scaling. Thanks!

plz plz plz plz can u make the EXPALL toggleable?
With the way the game was designed, leaving Exp. All made the most sense to both (1) streamline the gameplay/minimize grinding and (2) ensure the game scaled accordingly. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The issue with using cheat codes is they aren't compatible with these hacks due to the fact that everything is kind of moved around; I think your code interacted with something that wasn't present in vanilla Emerald. For safety, it's best if you start a fresh save without the use of any codes.

The first Braviary-H entry :) I think you bring up a valid point. The initial reasoning for the scaling was to streamline grinding, but I never took into account how that could turn easier trainers into longer, more tedious fights than anticipated. I'll remember this for future projects and probably have some way to toggle it. Thank you so much for playing :)
Hey, thanks for submitting your team! I hope you enjoyed the experience. Always brings me joy getting to add these to the main post!

but im not asking to remove the exp all, im just saying to have a way to enable it and dsisabble it at will, some people dont mind the grind. A toggle can make that both exp all lovers and "haters" enjoy ur game

My runs across two different patches. Most recent one I completed was patch 1.11. Is there anyway to update my current save file with the latest patch so that I can do the battle frontier? Or I need to a new play through entirely?

Are there specific z-crystals in this game like the "Tapunium Z" and what not. In addition to this question, can you get ultra necrozma in the current version?

Added! Surprisingly, the first Kommo-o entry into the HoF as well. Thank you so much for sharing this with me!
Unfortunately, a good amount was added between 1.11 and 1.15; some things that would trigger sequentially wouldn't do so and there would be random characters/roadblocks everyone the map. It would be best to do so on a clean save.

Only the generic Z-Crystals are accessible; this excludes the crystal necessary to activate Ultra Necrozma as well.

I've been having a blast with this hack, but i think it could be even better with a couple more qol features
Infinite repel, portable pc, sort items in bag, giving us both the acro & the mach bike, instead of having to return to the shop every time, more pokévial charges, faster surf speed
Hopefully these can be added in a future update!

I haven't been able to find Landorus in any way, just been looking at the Excel saying it's on Ever Grande city but haven't been able to reach there, also, the grind on the Battle frontier is insanely exhausting, which makes completing the Pokedex cuz of those Legendaries a huge pain, I love this hackrom, it's really good and has made me re-build my teams from scratch multiple times and it's super fun and well made, I would like that the natures of the pokemon did what they're supposed to do, and maybe add mints that change a pokemon nature or something like that (Just an idea lol) also add Stone edge as a TM, but overall this hackrom is amazing, I've completed the league multiple times by now with different teams and I have a lot of fun on each of those runs :)
