    Hello guys!

I proudly present you my newest project: Pokémon Emerald Interactive!

How does this work, you might ask. That's easy! You just come into the TwitchTV Stream (twitch.tv/TwitchInteractive) and then you're able to enter all of the GBA buttons in chat: a,b,start, select, left, right,up,down

It's a experiment how far we will come together to manage this BIG project. It's a big step and because of the electricity costs to run this I'd like everybody to spread the word and join us on our journey!

    Sincerly

You know, I personally think that your idea is nice, however it seems to have some problems:
First of all, writing the commands is fine for menus and stuff, but you'll have to copy/paste big rows of them in order to make minimally complex movements
Then, there won't be only one watcher onto the stream, hopefully. Will all the commands get executed from every watcher, creating a huge chaos on screen and then onto the server itself? Even if game control is given to few people at a time, on what criteria would you give that control to who?
Last thing, Pokemon games are mainly about training your own pokemon, making a bond with them as well. Point is, how much would someone like to battle with pokemons trained by who knows who and by many persons for a bunch of minutes each?
These are my thoughts about it, yet I still find this idea pretty original. I hope you the best for it :)

The idea is not original. There is a Gen 1 Twitch stream happening exactly like this right now. https://www.twitch.tv/twitchplayspokemon

It's a fun gimmick, but it's really only fun when it reaches gigantic popularity. If it's not popular, I'd rather just play the game myself.

Unfortunately, you can't advertise your playthrough here. You're free to do so in your signature, but you can't just make a thread about it. Sorry.

    Locked.
