    Yes you read correctly, for the first time in about 4 years Pokémon is on free tv in the UK.

    On Friday the 30th May on Action Stations on ITV4 and the CITV channel, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will be showing! 6 episodes after each other from 6:30am to 9:25am.

    This is part of Action Station's Half Term thingy, its 6 episodes of 5 different shows for the 5 days in the week!

    Link: CITV Guide

    Monday - Storm Hawks
    Tuesday - Transformers Cybertron
    Wednesday - Teen Titans
    Thursday - Justice League
    Friday - Pokémon Diamond and Pearl

    Great news isn't it? Last free Pokémon I saw was an Advanced episode in 2004!

    Rejoice people of the great British public!

    OH WHAAAAAAT. Pokemon just changed from CN Too to CN, which means I could get it! I have the Large Virgin Media package, which can't get CN Too but can get CN, so I've been watching DP everyday! Oh, I don' mean to sound disapointed, I'm glad for everyone, but I'm annoyed because I just found out I could watch it on TV for the first time anyway...

    Does this mean it is no longer showing on CN, or CN let ITV "borrow" Pokemon for the day? Or Pokemon will be permantly showing on the CITV channel (no way can it be, CITV's like Cbeebies these days)

    Any idea what episodes will be showing? If it's the first 6 episodes, I've seen them a billion times already (not that that means I can't watch them again :) ) but I'll be less inclined to watch them at 6:30am. But I suppose it will be the first 6, makes no sense showing random one's (although I hope for the tag battle eps!)

    They are probably going to show one episode a week after the 30th or something.
    Last one I saw on Citv was the sharpedo episode xD;
    I'm not really 'happy' about since I don't like to watch the episodes any more. Great news for those who do though.

    I suppose it'll be the first 6 DP episodes, makes sense to air them in chronological order.

    I know what you mean Jorah, I'm glad its back on because of the publicity, but I've seen all of the DP episodes up to the latest Probopass one, so it doesn't excite me that much.

    What would be good, if is they started to show them from 'Brave the Wave' onwards, the last episode ever shown on terrestrial, then I could start up my old VHS collection again! I haven't seen hardly any of the Advanced episodes. Guess I'll just have to download them in the end...

    Whats the point of watching old episodes in the UK when you can see the new ones on youtube or download.

    Some people don't want to look at a little pixelated youtube video… and others might not be able to download the episodes. Put a little thought into what you say…

    Well some people might not have any choice in the matter.:sleeping:

    Ofcouse they have a choice at least now that there been put on FREE tv they do now anyone can watch them, so yeah think about it which woud you choose, Tiny,Blury screen or a Larger,Clear screen? yeah i know which i would pick if i hadnt already seen them on CN allready.

    Yeah, but now you can watch them high quality and stereo on YouTube now (add &fmt=18 to the url) but it depends if it was high quality when the person uploaded it. But yeah, I think it's good for the people who can't, anyway

    I still think it's weird that it's going to be on CITV. I mean, Pokemon along side Enji Benji and Horrid Henry...? Whaat...?

    Edit: I've just looked at the Sky website and Pokemon isn't on either CN or CN Too anymore! It can't be on CITV forever...?

    I truly envy the people of United Kingdom. After WB and UPN merged, America couldn't get Pokémon on terrestrial(read:free) TV. Now, all we can do is pay a zillion dollars for cable TV and envy you.

    Of course, we don't have a TV tax. Then again, if we did have a TV tax, PBS wouldn't suck as much as they do. Poor USA.

    Wait a minute, isn't ITV 4 a low-viewer channel or something, like BBC 3?

    Maybe they will only show a certain amount of D/P episoes… because there might be a Darkrai event coming up [/speculation]
    That's what they did with the mew event I think o.o; They showed a few advanced journeys at like 5 am o.o;
    Horrid Henry is funny… sometimes xD;
    And I used to watch the old Enji Benji xD;
    BBC 3 and ITV4 are aimed towards a more mature audience. But they do have a lower viewer rating compared to other digital channels.

    Sorry, I didn't mean to sound mean.

    OK, I just checked out the Sky TV guide and ITV4 and CITV are airing is EXACTLY the same time lol where's the logic in that? Now I have the dilemma of which channel to watch XD

    I think they run the two channels with the same thing because not all packages carry the CITV channel, so kids can watch Action Stations on ITV4.

    If you wanna know which to watch it on if you have FreeView, then I'd go with ITV4, the picture is less compressed and sound quality is better. Anyone that knows FreeView will know what I'm talking about...

    Great News! I was wondering where Pokemon had gone, when CN Too stopped showing it. It's on a bit early, though. Oh Well, I'll probably still watch it :D

    Anyway, I hope they show some of the older episodes too, and I hope this makes Pokemon a popular TV show again, it isn't the same as it was since It kind of died out :/

    I just checked, from Sunday DP will be showing at 6:30pm on CN again and from Monday it'll ALSO be showing 7-8am on ITV4. Brilliant! I can wake up to Pokemon before I go to college and also after tea! Hahaha. My brothers and sister won't be happy, they like watching Arthur in the mornings and I *have* watched a few episodes about 5 times already...

    Thanks for the advice! Cable looks horrible on my TV, so I'll watch it on Freeview on ITV4, cool.

    Well, Pokémon was just on! I got up at 6:30 to watch all six episodes, and it was great to watch Pokémon in good quality again!

    I checked my EPG and there are double bills all next week at 7:00am on ITV4 and CITV.

    Yeah, I watched them all too, except I thought they started at 6:45 haha. It doesn't matter I woke up so early because I was ill and was awake from 4am o.O

    Haha I'm going to watch Pokemon in morning all week even though I don't have to wake up then (still on study leave yay!)
