3rd Gen Pokémon FR/LG Monotype Challenge

Flygon is in the game though. I could gameshark him in. Gamesharks are allowed if the pokemon is too far away. Dratini=Safari Zone so......

Yes, but I'm not the one to be arguing so you should probably take it up with Koz. By the way, Koz, did you notice I changed to poison?

I said you, refering to the ground pokemon only run. Charmander and its evolved forms are not ground.

On the note of Poison. It has been completed, thus we will have nobody else completing this run. One run per person on this thread please so this thread can eventually die once the runs are complete.

I don't have the motivation to train my pokemon right now...I'll choose another type later and leave someone to have normal because I don't feel like training everyone to lvl. 50, I'd rather do it along the way.

Edit: I'll go with grass, I like grass more. I'll probably do a powerhouse with Venusaur and maybe another pokemon. (Like, a 2 pokemon team, instead of 6 which really messes me up)

. Got to Celadon City and went straight to the gym.
. I had to bring my HM slave with me into the gym for its CUT ability :(
. Defeated every single pokemon, including Erika's, with just my Charmeleon
. Trained Charmeleon alone so that it was a legal pokemon of my team.
. Defeated all the goons and Giovanni in the Game Corner
. Defeated my rival in the Haunted Tower with just Pidgeotto
. Both Charmeleon and Pidgeotto evolved.
. Ended my game there

Steelix is Steel/Ground, also you can't really obtain it until after the E4 anyway, good team though.

So, what type are you no longer doing in exchange for grass so I can remove it for someone else.

I want to level Diglett up before I beat my third gym.

Okay, lol. Added to bug slot.

If anyone decides to do Dragon later they can GS a Dratini early on in the game or trade but it must be below level 20. This applies to all types which you may struggle getting a Pokémon in. Please ask me before you go using GS, though since I don't want people getting certain Pokémon such as those exclusive to emerald in FR/LG.

Err, sorry. Charmeleon was thiiis close to evolving into a flying pokemon and that grass gym was the perfect place to train it. Now I don't have to do that anymore :D
 
Update Numero Uno

-Started with a Charmander (no reason)
-Did all of Oak's errands
-Went to Viridian Forest and caught myself a Weedle and a Caterpie
-Stored Charmander in the box
-Trained Weedle up lvl 10, and Caterpie to 8
-Crushed Gary on Route 22
-Saved before 1st Gym (This is gonna be hard)

Update Numero Dos

-Lost against Brock.
-Trained Metapod up to lvl 12
-Beat Brock thanks to Buterfree
-Went to Mt. Moon and saved there.

Sorry for the small update, but I have like 3 different challenges to do also tonight.

Kozoi, I was doing normal. You know what, Idk if I have the motivation, I'll come back later and leave grass and normal to some other people who want it.
 
Joe.. Can you open up the Electric-type spot for other people?

It's just that my grandad has been admitted into hospital after having a heart attack, and the doctors don't think that he'll wake up. I'm not in the right frame of mind at the moment.
