Pokémon Galaxy White (Back from the dead!)

So I just got fifteen posts and figured I should start this up again.


Story:

You've just turned sixteen and have moved to the new region of (????). It's composed of two large islands. That stuff down at the bottom are the northern bits of Kanto/Johto. You've moved here as an internship, after applying to work with Professor (Hazel?). You're just about to start looking for (lowly legendary in FR, probably Lati@s/Latios or one of the three dogs) when the Prof. finds out you don't have any badges. She gets all pissed at you, because she can't legally have you on dangerous field research without them, and makes you start right away(other scientists are eager to take the glory). She will generally be right behind or ahead of you as you journey through the region, talking with experts around. I'm thinking you might start looking for the Regis around badge two or three. Blah blah blah... you beat the E4 and go south to Kanto. (Keep in mind, this is about 20 years after the events of R/B/Y). You can actively look all around for legendaries now, but you still keep beating the gyms.Skip to the end, you're looking for Mew. You search around, and eventually find some antagonists. They've captured Mew, and are attempting to turn it Dark. The place goes haywire after you beat them, and they run off or die or something. The Dark Mew can't handle it, and is in some serious pain. You catch it to make it better, but it splits into two and the Dark bit escapes. You might be able to catch it later, I don't know. I do know that I'm going to try to mess around with the Dive HM, so that you can go into what looks like space, where you will find Deoxys and Rayquaza. Mewtwo is your rival.

Also, I forgot to mention before that between the two main islands will be a giant floating fortress used as a battle tower, and you're going to be time traveling. Sort of put things in the right place for your future self to make things right, as the first time you screwed up badly. Celebi will be facilitating this.

Someone suggested this:
Since you have the concept of 'dark' Pokemon, you could spiff up the plot considerably by setting up seemingly-impossible choices. Let's say Regice and Articuno have appeared at the same time in opposite locations and Team ______ captures the one you don't. Then, after you beat the game you can go into the void place and catch back the ones you missed earlier.

space (I have a way to implement it, but there is another cooler way that I'm researching right now)
time travel
Island dojos. Not really gyms, as there is only one person with a VERY high level pokemon of one type. You beat them, and you get that poke or its pre-evolution, which is not available anywhere else in the game. I'm thinking gligar for poison, skarmory for steel, sunkern for grass, etc., etc.

So you HAVE to catch the legendary pokemon?

You don't have to catch them, no. You have to see them all at least once, however.

Added a banner to the first post. I would use Venusaur, except that it's a third evo and I'm trying to pick ones that don't evolve. I might let you get a Bulbasaur instead, though. I've been testing out the first maps, they seem to be working alright. Might post an alpha in a few days.

Them maps need a lot of work. Most are empty and have huge areas of emptiness. If these were improved, and the scripts are good, then I wish you luck.

i like the maps....and the story seems ok :) and the space tiles are..................WOW awesome job :) keep it up i support this now it should turn interesting :P

Thanks. I'm not ready for help yet, but I will be soon. I'm hoping to have a *playable* (not perfect) game done by the morning of the 6th. After that, I'll ask for plenty of help in making this a really good game.
