    Sorry if this isn't the place to put this but does anyone here know how to use Pokémon Game Editor 3.8.1? I am trying to change the base stats of Pokémon in GS Chronicles to remove EVs and this seems to be the software to use. After putting the rom in the tool the screen freezes and doesn't change. Not sure what could be causing the issue here, anyone have any ideas?
     
    PGE, like most binary tools, is going to struggle editing an already-made rom hack. Those tools know where data is in vanilla games, but that data is likely moved around in a hack like GS Chronicles, so the tool no longer knows what to do or where to do it. Try using the tool HexManiacAdvance, it's a little more flexible with stuff like this, but it also isn't meant to support non-vanilla roms
