This thread is mainly just to inform Zeffy and Spherical Ice of what's going to be expected of them as judges.

There will be a thread for this event, there you will post your map's image and any backstory to do. (Make sure to include credits for all the tile makers you used etc.) The maps can be made in anything, RMXP, Sphere, A-Map, Paint, anything that allows you to piece a map together.

We, the judges, will have to rate every single map on the same criteria and not offer an bias judgements.

I expect you to write at least one four line paragraph on every map explaining exactly what you like and don't like about it (saying you like the map's tiles is deemed as idiotic and your opinions may be washed out if you rate based on tiles/graphics) remember, we're rating the map, not its beauty. A map is for playing through, not looking at.

There will also be three subsections in which you'll give a rating out of ten, an average will be taken from your three ratings and added as your opinion of that map. Then all the averages from the three judges will be added together to find the map's overall average; after this stage, the map with the highest overall average will be deemed the winner.

Layout/Design /10
Playability /10
Mapping Errors /10

Everybody who participates, in the form of posting a map, will receive an emblem for their efforts. 3rd, 2nd and 1st placed members will also receive an emblem for winning.
