Most of us have been playing Pokémon for many years now, all with the same game mechanics over and over again. With game mechancis I mean the entire battle system, and general overworld storyline in the handheld games.
The size of the playable areas (basically the amount of maps, cities and all that) has steadily increased, but not too much. How much and what kind of non-battle content would you like to see added?
Pokémon is moving towards an extremely complex game of sheer maths, where Pokémon are pretty much numbers and the metagame is all that counts. I know not all people battle that way, but sometimes it's frustrating to see the same teams over and over again on WiFi or netbattle. Nothing fresh or surprising.
Thoughts? :)
