Question: Pokémon Gaming Central?

    I just noticed that General Pokémon Gaming became Pokémon Gaming Central.

    I'm not upet by this change or anything, I just wanted to ask was there a reason for the name change?

    Sorry if this is a silly question.
     
    Sydian noticed that a lot of members were confused between General Pokemon Gaming and Pokemon General so a name change was made to help lessen up the confusion. I think the description for the section changed too. I guess a lot of members were confused about what kinds of threads belong in which section.

    So long story short it's just to help make General Pokemon Gaming Pokemon Gaming Central and Pokemon General less confusing.
     
    Sometimes we'll randomly change forum names and descriptions just to see if people are paying attention!

    Okay, no, not really. We have good reasons when we change names/locations of forums and it's usually just because we think the new one makes more sense or will work better. :)
     
    I reckon I should have posted an announcement for it in GPG PGC. But I thought the name would help since people got Pokemon General and General Pokemon Gaming confused. I mean, it was a one word difference, so there was barely any differentiation. Sometimes even I had trouble because it confused me a bit. But now that the name change is there, I think it will help in the long run. Hope you like it!
