[Released] Pokémon Hollow Woods

The 7-gym demo release of Pokémon Hollow Woods is now live and can be downloaded here. In this release, you can (officially) receive 7 Senate badges, take on the Oblar Army's latest plot, catch new regional forms, and take on a new battle challenge!

Though smaller than some previous releases, there is plenty to keep you occupied in this new update, which will probably be the last major content update until the full game release. Please share any screenshots and feedback as you take on the new areas!

I'm excited to share the first screenshots of what our team has been working on - a big visual overhaul!

In addition to working on new areas, we've been going back through the game's maps, characters, and Pokémon and making tweaks that will make the game stand out visually while retaining its Gen IV-style charm! Also included in this overhaul are replacements to placeholder sprites, a revamped lighting system that will make Oblar more fun to explore at night, indicators that make it easier to find quests, and more!

We don't yet have a timeline to share on the release of this update, but expect more information to come soon!

hey sorry to post this but im just curious where on earth do i get an exp share? im getting stuck grinding for hours to get past the gym takeover parea and yet im still underpowered
 
Your patience is about to pay off! On Monday, June 23rd (in less than two weeks!) the first of two updates to Pokémon Hollow Woods will be released. This update consists of a revamp to the first seven gyms worth of content, while the next update will include new story and areas.

But wait - why bother playing a new update if it doesn't add new story content? Well, as I've been showcasing, the new update contains so much to love, including beautiful new reworks of nearly every area in the game, new regional forms and custom mega evolutions, an updated Pokédex that makes some of those regional forms easier to find, improved cutscenes, and much more!

This update brings Hollow Woods much closer to its original vision and includes lots of fan-requested content. I'll be sharing more of what it will include in the coming days on Discord, and I'm excited to share it with you soon! For now...we have some screenshots below!
