    Have you noticed that many characters in the games don't act too logically?
    For example, in Red Rescue Team, about every legendary you meet is like
    "YOU HAVE COME TO DESTROY THIS TOWER!"
    "No, actually we are trying to stop it from being destroyed by a whopping big meteorite and we need your help."
    "LIES! YOU SHALL DIE!"
    battle
    "Okay, you beat the crap outta me so you must be speaking the truth. Now lets stop the meteorite."

    Agree...?
     
    They should just insert Spock into the game, he'd sort this problem out.

    But seriously, I noticed that too. It's like 'YOU'RE LYING, I SHALL ONLY BELIEVE YOU... through interpretive dance! if you kick my butt!'

    Sort of gives off the idea that all Pokemon are illogical masochists.

    This Drowzee says he wants to help this azurill and marill look for some item and even though he's a stranger NOBODY HAS A PROBLEM WITH THIS.
    I kept shouting at my game "No, you idiots, didn't your mother tell you not to talk to strangers!"
     
    Well if your moaning about this.

    Heres something non-logicala bout pokemon.

    IF pokemon were real most of the stuff would be illegal.

    1.Pokemon battles are animal cruelty, making them fight untill they basically are dead and battered. People then would obviously take over the world with pokemon.

    2. You wouldn't want a bloody 10 year old kid with a charzard walking around training it. If you piss that boy of expect your self to be roasted.

    Even though its not real. It totally shows animal cruelty :P
     
    There are a ton of illogical things about Pokemon. The "okay, you beat me so you must be right" thing is one of them.
    Another is 10 year olds leaving home to go play with dangerous monsters. What parent would let that happen?!
     
    if it became real I dont believe there would be enough pokemons for everyone lol
     
    Well considering its a world where mice can shoot lighting out of thier cheeks, animals can chane with the use of stones, and ten year olds are allowed to travel the world alone without supervision... logic isn't really a factor in the pokemon world when you think about it. 0-0....
     
    I think most of you are missing the point. It's not so much that their world is so illogical it's that they are illogical.
    Really, when it comes down to it our world doesn't make too much sense ether (okay well it does make a lot of sense but that's only because we know more about our world then theirs) yet we don't act or think illogically.

    Just because their world doesn't make any sense doesn't justify them not making any sense.

    You know what the funny interesting thing is? That type of thing happens in real life all the time.

    Which is why it's so freakin' awesome. :D Sure, there are "bad guys" and "bad pokemon"-but a little battle solves everything.

    Here's another funny thing. I'm a pacifist. :o
     
    Lol. Have u noticed how in the games the ten-year old never tires out???

    And how this little kid can single-handedly disban Team Rocket/Aqua and/or Magma/Galactic??
     
    ya how can a ten year old and thier pokemon single handedly take down a whole evil empire like magma or aqua and save the world from an arngry giant monster like dialga?

    or how in rescue team a pikachu and a charmander could totally pwn a giant zapdos?
     
    I think most people who post in the thread didn't read past the title...
     
    Well, if a team rocket member twice your size will let you through if you beat him in a pokemon battle...
     
    Well actually, if his Pokemon can't defend him self because they're fainted and yours can, then if he tries to attack you without his Pokemon you can just use your Pokemon to defend you.

    Team [enemy] Grunt used ILLOGICAL RAGING PROTEST
    Spock used CALM AND RATIONAL EXPLANATION

    It's super effective!


    The logic that baffles me is how people have apparently been partnering with pokemon to fight or work or play for generations, and they still never seem to know anything about them. "Gee, how do they breed? WOW what's this egg? I have no idea what that could possibly be!"

    You know, even the "intelligent" Pokemon in Dungeon are limited in their AI. Notice how you're the only one who is/was human?

    Strategy. Humans have it, Pogeyz don't.
