Ziggy, does this mean that your going to re-open 3 slots or are you just going to pick 1?

I'm probably going to pick one.

....Candy Christina's sign-up is the best, out of these, so she'll be the final member of Team Lurking. We can start now.

------

The sun almost burned Sandra's eyes out when she opened them. Had she been sleeping standing up again?

...Apparently so. But she didn't blame herself for it, and instead, swung her axe-like tail through the air. She had to wait for the others to wake up before they left for Sky Tower.

The Lucario checked the bag. There were a lot of items, and she made sure each one was there.

~
Tuliae sniffed, the morning air was itchy to her nose. Sandra had already been up and about, by the look of things but then again there was her terrible habit of sleeping standing up. Tuliae stood up and shook out any dust that had accumilated in her golden coat. She accidentally scraped her tail against the wall, she stared at it, had she been making all those marks by herself? She groaned, "at least I don't own this place" she mumbled.

Tuliae walked out in the bright sunlight and past Sandra, who was checking the items they had prepared. "morning, Sandra" she greeted the lucario pleasantly.

Vincent the Luxray awoke with a start. His blue and black fur was drenched with sweat, and his heart was beating so quickly that one could almost dance to the beat.
He curled his lip and quickly took stock of his location. He was alone in his quarters. The bright morning sun-light was streaming in through the room's single window.
He had had the dream. Again.
With a sigh, Vincent stood, stretched low and yawned wide. In doing so he resembled a large cat that had just woken from a nap.
With a flick of his tail and a shake of his maned head the Luxray banished all thoughts of his dream.
'What's done is done, I can't bring her back no matter how much I dwell on it.', he scolded himself.
With a final sigh he walked over to the small table that was in the middle of the room.
Last night, before retiring, Vincent had taken the time to pack his Team's Toolbox with the items that they would need for their mission today.
Taking the leather strap of the Toolbox in his teeth, Vincent stood up on his hind-legs, and worked it over his head to rest comfortablely over his right shoulder. This acomplished, he dropped back down to all-fours.
'Well, the others should he waking soon.', he thought. 'I'd best get going.'

After looking his quarters over to make certain that everything was secured, Vincent made his way to the clearing designated for the pre-mission briefings.
Upon his arrival, he saw that two members of Team Truth were already there.
"Good morning, Ladies.", he said in his normal, quiet voice. He nodded to both of them regardingly.
Without another word, the scarred Luxray prowled the short distance to Team Lurking's meeting place, and sat on his haunches to wait for his team mates.

OOC: :"The dream" thingie is something that I'll explain in his History. I'm still working on something postable in that reguard. Once up, that'll make a little more sence.

"HAH! HAH! HYYYYAH!" Bailee shouted as she vigorously punched and kicked one of the tall trees that stood before her.

She was exercising in the Sinister Woods once again. This had become a regular routine for her nowadays. Bailee's extensive workouts were ingrained in her ever since her youth. Her father Timothy taught her everything he knew in which she integrated every single move and style into her practice. She seemed to have lost track of the time, as she just now realized she was late for a meeting with her teammates.

"Damn…what a workout." Bailee said as she looked up at the brightly shining sun up above her.

It was a rather warm day today, but the morning breeze chilled her sweat-filled face.

"I'd better get over there soon…Vincent will probably be angered with me…again." She said as she started to stroll over towards their meeting quarters to discuss the mission they would soon partake in.

"Hmm… I wonder if there are any ponds nearby…I need to wash up a bit." Bailee said to herself while she scanned the exterior of the forest.

"Ugh…I might as well just do it when I get there. I'm already late enough as it is. I hope I don't miss anything important!" She uttered to herself.

The limber Lopunny quickly dashed towards the meeting quarters, punching and kicking any trees in her path while on the way there. The breeze refreshed her as her feet leapt; left, right, left, right, in a swift motion. She had almost made her way to her destination but tripped over a tiny rock and fell over.

"…I'm okay…" Bailee mumbled after a few moments of laying there in silence.

"I'm glad no one saw that…" She said as she struggled to get up and walk inside the home.

"Okay. I'm here."

OCC: BTW, Blayze youre part of Team Lurking

IC: Shoai awoke to the sun beaming into his window. Rolling over to one side, he looked out the window. The sun just above the trees.. He had overslept as usual.

"Damn..." he moaned "I need a day off...training everyday, plus we got that mission at the Sky Pillar..."

He let out at a sigh as he got up. Checking his reflection in a small barrel of water, he noted that his fur on his head was a mess, as usual when he got up. Suddenly, he heard a loud noise from Vincent's quarter's, the room above his. Guessing that their leader was already up, Shoai grabbed his one pocket bag and, putting it around his back, Shoai rushed to the squad's main room, forgetting completely about his fur.

"Man...Baliee better be there, cause if both of us are late again, Vince is gunna make us run..."

He had just made it to the meeting place when Vincent turned the corner. Looking over, he noticed that Baliee had just arrived as well.

<That was good timing> he thought to himself.

Quickly Shoai leaned against a wall in the corner of the room and crossed his arms, acting like he had been waiting for hours.

Vince calmly walked to the front of the room, like a lion circling it's prey, before sitting down to explain today's mission.

"Shall we get started Sir?" Asked Shoai

OOC: @ wolfsrain23 - I know, I just had Vincent walk outside, and since members of Team Truth were already out there, I had him acknowledge them. ^_^

((wolfsrain23's convinced me to open more slots, so I'll open them now, and I'll PM the ones I've rejected, okay?))

Sandra nodded at Tuliae. "We just need to wait for Icarus, then we can leave. Thank you for being early. I appreciate it. Are there any suggestions you have on items?" Instead of looking to her side, Sandra turned around and faced the Absol directly.

"Yeah…so what are we planning to do, Vincent? We can't be idle. I'm pretty sure the other rescue teams will be on their way to Sky Pillar soon as well. Team Lurking has a reputation at stake here. If we sit here and do nothing, we will never claim Rayquaza as part of our own organization." Bailee passionately said.

Bailee stood with her right hand on her hip as she proclaimed this. She was usually very quiet, never speaking out of turn and letting others have their say before she did. She was devoted to the rescue team though and only wanted what was best for them. She wanted the team to shine and become better than the rest.

"It's still morning so there shouldn't be many teams on their way to the pillar right now. But they should be going soon. We have a few hours before a lot of them start to head out. If we leave a bit before they do, we should have a good chance right?" She stated, while looking out the window.

The sun was still shining, yet some clouds started to roll in front of the bright sunlight. It was possible that rain could be coming anytime soon. The day would be gray later on. Bailee could sense it.

"Hmm…we should leave before the possible storm hits too. It's still sunny but you never know. The clouds do look eerie. We could be in for a storm later on. But who cares about that. We have to have Rayquaza join us." She said, looking back to Shoai and Vincent.

"Sorry if I was speaking too much sir…I just have a great passion for the rescue team and I want us to be the best out there. I'm pretty sure our rival Team Truth will be on their way to the Sky Pillar too."

Bailee thought of Team Truth and how tough the team was. Bailee had met and spoke to them on occasion but Bailee also saw them as rivals to their team. She knew that it would be hard to come up against a team with such strategic ways of doing things.

"Sir," said Shoai, pausing for a minute, " We could hurry to the dungeon right away, but we also need to think strategy. We charge in there without thinking this though, were going to get knocked out of the dungeon. If other teams head off before us into the dungeon, it is likely that they will clear some of the way for us, and also tiring themselves out. Eventually, they will have to stop for a break, then we can overtake them. This will allow us to save a lot of energy for the deeper parts of the dungeon and the final battle."

Shoai looked over at some of the other teams meeting and preparing for the upcoming challenge.

"Chances are, also, that some of those weaker teams will also be knocked out early, clearing the way and knocking out most of the competition for today. However, these teams may pick up items in the cavern which we could use."

Shoai stopped speaking for a moment, ears twitching. He was deep in thought, thinking about any other angles they could approach or other things for today.

"Plus, we also got to wait for those new recruits. Anyways Vincent, it's your call what we do."

All right, Machomuu, you're accepted. You may begin role-playing, and I will add you to the list.

OOC: Sorry if this post seems a little wonky; my brain's kinda fried from work. :cross-eye

BIC:
From his place at the head of the Briefing Room, Vincent listened to his team mates in silence. His only movement was the occasional flick of his tail.
After they had both finished speaking, the Luxray looked first to Bailee.
He smiled ever so slightly at her speech.
"You're right, we can't afford to be idle.", he said with a nod.
He then turned to Shoai. "However, we do need a strategy. I'd rather not go rushing into this blindly."
Vincent then lowered his gaze as he thought over the possible ways to complete their mission.
After a moment he looked to his team mates again.
"It would be wise to conserve as much of our strength as possible, for our task is no small one. However, I don't think it necessary for the other teams to "clear the way". Team Lurking is strong. Am I right?", he declared, a hint of pride in his quiet voice.
"Our best course of action, I think, would be to leave as soon as we are able. And in the interest of strength conservation, we should not get ourselves involved with an obstical unless needed."
Vincent then stood and padded over to the low table at the center of the Briefing Room. Laid out on its wooden surface was a map of the area.
"While we wait for our new recruit, I suggest that you both look over this map and memorize what you can of it. Also if you haven't already done so, gather what supplies you will need for the mission."
That said he walked back over to his orginal place and laid down to wait for their final member.

~
Tuliae laid down on the cushiony ground and folded her paws crosswise. "hmm..." she stared into the pack of items Sandra had prepared the night before, nosing through them.

"There's not much that we haven't got but what do you suggest about wearing a few ribbons?" she asked, absentmindly checking around her to see if Icarus had arrived. the bulbasaur was no where in sight at all and she wondered if Icarus had forgotten about the meeting to discuss when to head up to the sky tower.

Tuliae looked back up at Sandra, "do we even have a plan to use when traveling through the dungeon?"

Shoai unfolded his arms and walked over to the table, grabbing the map off of it. He the proceeded to walk over to the other side of the room and leaned against the side wall. When he was comfortable, he opened the map like a newspaper, shielding his face and about 3/4th of his body from the other members. Only his feet and tail were showing from behind the map.

"Baliee, he said, still hiding his face behind the map, "I'll memorize this, you'll be in charge of extra supplies." Shoai then reached into the small one pocket backpack he carried on his back.

"Here," he told Baliee, throwing a bag of coins her way " Buy what you think we'll need. Vincent, Sir, you can go too if you want. I'll wait for the new recruit." With that, Shoai went back to studying the map.

"Hmm…alright. I'll be back soon. If I'm not back in around thirty minutes, come find me." Bailee replied and headed out the door.

She looked up above her and took notice of the accumulation of clouds that started to cover the once brightly shining sun. She figured she was right. It would be storming soon so she should be quick to get what they needed and head back. The storm wouldn't keep them from completing the mission though. Rayquaza was a highly regarded Pokemon that any team would do anything to recruit. She had faith that her team would be the ones to have the legendary sky Pokemon join them.

"Huh…I'm going the right way, right?" She whispered to herself as she came to a stop. She looked at her surroundings and could see that they were familiar to her. Though for some reason, she felt as if something weren't right about it. Bailee sighed and figured she was just being ridiculous.

"There's something different about this area but I can't put my finger on it. Blah. Maybe I'm just imaging things as always." Bailee said bluntly.

She continued her walk to Pokemon Square. The walk was never too long so she figured she could complete the task in a short amount of time and get back so they could make sure they had everything for the mission. She would have to get the most important things that would benefit them the most.

"Hm. Shouldn't be long now. In fact…I think I'm here already." Bailee proclaimed. She took a look at the bustling village full of small Pokemon, big Pokemon, fat ones and thin ones.

"I wonder where those Kecleon guys are…they usually have the stuff we need." She thought to herself.

She scoped the town square and finally noticed that she was standing right next to the shop. The Kecleon brothers had an inviting smile on their face as they welcomed Bailee to their store filled with various items.

"Hello!" cried the normal colored Kecleon.

"Welcome customer!" The purple Kecleon exclaimed in his usual cheerful tone of voice.

"Hi…um, I haven't been here in quite a while. What do you two have here? I can see quite a few things that might be useful to us…" Bailee informed them as she looked around at the items.

"Hey! You're from that one rescue team eh…what was it…Team Snooping? Team Sneaking?" The green Kecleon asked questioningly.

"No, brother. It was Team Prowling. Or maybe it was Team Creeping…" The purple Kecleon responded, trying to correct his brother.

"No. It's Team Lurking. But back to my question…what do you two ha-" Bailee started to say.

"I know what it is! It's Team Hiding!" The green Kecleon exclaimed, interrupting the tall Lopunny.

"You know what…I think we'll be fine with what we have." Bailee answered with a big, annoyed sounding sigh.

"Alright! Thanks for stopping by!" The purple Kecleon called out to Bailee as she walked away.
