I found a strange glitch. When I talk to the Snorlax, it says:

off towards the tunnel over there.
That's all it does. What did I do wrong? I patched on a clean ROM, and I haven't had any strange glitches like this before.
EDIT: I got there using the Mr. Briney event.

you dont go there. go back to the pokemon center by the health place. then talk to the guy closest to nurse joy, then talk to the green shirt guy. (forgot his name) then you can go on the beaches where you couldnt before.i still dont know how to get past the part where the little girl says her big brother is sad
