At least with default emulator settings, it throws red screen exceptions often enough with Twilight menu that I wanted to uninstall it. I really want to play it but it's been pretty unstable.

I'm going to try again with the following settings and see if that makes things more stable. I'll report back later

(Twilight settings)
- DS main memory i-cache: Off
- WRAM i-cache: Off
(Game settings)
- Arm9 CPU Speed: 133 mhz
- Asynch Card Read: Off

It's still throwing red screen exceptions even with those settings. I'm on the latest NDS-Bootstrap, and used the recommended ROM patching option in the instructions.

If it becomes more stable, I'd love to play it.

Hi, i have defeated Archer at the radio tower, where can I find get the Shiny Stone? I would to have a togekiss to fight Claire.
 
I'm loving the hack @gunsho, very nicely done. My only request, like other people said before itt, would be having ways to evolve Eevee into Glaceon/Leafeon in Johto, so that they could see more action before Kanto.
I'm also in favor of having Kris instead of Lyra, but that seems to be contentious...lol

Oh, and if possible make the evolutionary items (like the stones and the cable) available in the map via rewards or buying instead of the games. Maybe it is just me, but I'd rather buy those items at a high price or find the evolutionary stones in caves in Johto than play the minigames at the Pokeathlon :woop:

There are already a ton of hacks with Kris in Lyra's role, Lyra deserves love! ❤️
But I agree that Kris could be in the story, or appear in the game! (In place of Cal in Viridian perhaps?)
 
Oh, nothing aganist Lyra btw! Her hat could be better, but that's it imo lol
 
i tried to apply the patch to my ROM base and got an error "An error has occurred: xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT"
I checked the ROM Info and it does say RPKE... Is there something else I'm missing?

Nope...

Also, I came across two bugs with Eusine
- on Mt. Mortar's entrance, the cutscene activates even after meeting Suicune there for the first time (after using Cut on the tree, Suicune cries and crashes the game)
- Eusine's encounter on Route 27 keeps activating even after defeating him there, crashing the game
 
Hi! I wanted to share my suggestions that may simply improve the experience without losing the vanilla feel. Firstly, if you could make Silver's team's magneton and sneasel evolved :)

Also, please make events accessible without wi-fi like Giovanni's, both SS and HG's Pokemon available in each other's hacks if you're willing.

I'd also suggest improving important opponents' Pokemons' natures, IVs, and EVs 😅
 
For when a hack based on HG-Engine? I want to see Gen 5-6 Pokemon and Mega Evolutions in Heartgold.
 
Oh and evolving Eevee to Leaf/Glace via Leaf Stone/Ice Stone is another canon way of doing so, if you prefer :smile:
 
hi! really interested in using this hack! im very new to the ROM hacking experience and i wanted to ask if this patch(? is that the right term?) included the version exclusives for either game in both versions! i would really like to have a gliscor, but wanted to play soul silver over heart gold! would much appreciate any information on this, since i am not familiar with the spawning tables of Crystal version, and would like to complete the dex. thanks!
