I checked and it says nothing. i am wondering if I am doing something wrong as I want to go for an espeon as my eevee has very good special attack
 
can somebody tell me how do i encounter the stakataka ? it says in raids but i didnt encounter it in the cerulem cave but i encountered the xurkitree.

It's VERY random. You're just unlucky.
 
This is the best rom hack I've played in years. 100% agree with shifting difficulty away from grinding. I'd like to report a possible minor bug- it seems that Cute Charm's field effect isn't working. I've tested it with both Clefairy and Jigglypuff and wild pokemon gender ratios aren't affected. Otherwise it's been a smooth experience. Kudos
 
what do u mean with random `? so does that mean i cant encounter it unless i do another playthrough ?
 
and is there an bug `? in the files it says that u can catch a scithor in safari park day time and night time a heracross. so why do i keep encounterin the heracross when in my time zone its day time ?
 
so i have to wait till 12 in my real life time so the raids get reset `? does it only reset after i beat the champ or before?

I'm currently doing a Monotype Steel walkthrough, I was using tanky Mons and it was soo easy. Like Corvsquire, Durant, Escavalier, Cufant (or Cupperajah), Stunfisk-G, Mawile.

Also, money and item wise you can abuse Raids to get e.g. Choice items. Not sure if they're available at that point of the game yet. There should be a documentation smewhere in this thread, a Google Drive link that contains a lot of info like Pokemon Locations, Raid Locations/Drops etc.

If you're playing on PC/Phone you can either forward your device's clock, the ingame time changes as well AND the Raid is reset. If you're on PC you can use the program "RunAsDate".


You can also abuse this + reloading savestate to get an unlimited amount of choice items, lucky eggs, big nuggets etc...
 
So I just finished the game.... And it was amazing. This game is the first game i was busy with rebuilding teams and i liked it a lot (btw final Giovanni battle was disguisting, for me the hardest battle). It is fun to build new kind of strategies instead of building a diverse team. The last main game I have played was Platinum, so this game had many new features for me (Didn't even know of terrains and shell smash for example). When I was reading through the comments here, i saw a lot about ev training and having good iv's, that this is needed to beat the game. To those people, no it is not nescecary. I had for example a special Ninetales but when I was comparing stats, attack was way higher then the sp.attack. What i want to say, tactic is the most important thing to keep in mind.

I have one con, During my playthough i have found 1 bug which can make certain battles way to easy. The AI knows which item you are holding on your mon. So I had a Charizard X, and brendan in the safari zone, Koga and May were spamming earthquake and focus blast before i even mega evolved. So my response was dragon dancing, mega evolving and start sweeping with Dragon claw or shadow claw. maybe u want to look at this to fix to make it more difficult?

I wasn't sure if it was just me or if the AI was actually "knowing" your item. But when I tried the 7th Gym for 1h now it seems that the Leader was switching his Mons depending on the berry I gave my 1st mon - which I used as advantage because he tend to switch into his 2nd Mon more often before his 1st Mon even being fully dead.
 
Made this account just to say this was a great rom hack, hope to see more in the future. Also nice touch with the battle before E4.
 
I think my game doesnt have a time and is always in night time. bc raids doesnt resets and even if its day in my clock on the pc it will show me pokemon from night time. did i do something wrong ? i save my game with the option from gba save state btw.
 
I'm halfway through my first playthrough and so far I am loving it! As someone who has been playing the games religiously since gen II, and has been playing competitively since XY this game is everything I wanted from a Pokemon game. Truly, Bravo. Finally there is a game where I feel like an actual trainer that has to put in the work to win, instead of a poke-tourist just moving from one battle to the next. Have you thought about making a vgc version of it? In my competitive career I have found that I enjoy the fast paced and hectic nature of vgc over singles, and I think that a version of this game where all battles are vgc rules would be awesome. I expect the trainer AI will be much harder to make competent with four pokemon on the field, so I'm not hoping for too much, just wanted to hear your thoughts on the idea. Either way you've made a great game that I'll be playing for a while. Thanks!

edit: also I wanted to ask if the medichamite is in the game? I can't figure out where it's located.

I just finished my monotype steel walkthrough, check my Hall of Fame below.
Worst part was the first gym - only Steel pre-evolution Mons I could find were Corvisquire and Burmy (which you doesnt evolve into the Steel type bc of a bug + is useless anyway). After like 50 tries I figured out I just needed 6 Corvisquire with Rock Smash or whatever Fight move they can be found with.

2nd worst part was Blaine:
Why is his Typhlosion so OP? Not being hit by Stone Rocks??? "Outspeeds" my Probopass while in Trick Room?????
Cinderace is OP as well. Every move hits STAB due to its ability. It's base speed in combination with the ability and the already nerfed Base Atk is still too much!

The spawns change during the day, but if you do and win a raid you have to wait until the day later.
So save before doing a raid.
