Pokémon RainBlue would be the simpler of the two, being as identical to base FireRed and LeafGreen as possible with several notable changes:
    1. The addition of the Physical/Special split.
    2. The addition of the Fairy type.
    3. An expanded Kanto Dex of over 230 Pokémon, including all pre-evolutions, evolutions, Alolan/Galarian/Hisuian/Paldean Forms, Meltan, Melmetal, both Convergent Evolution lines based on Kanto Pokémon and both of the Paradox Pokémon based on Kanto Pokémon.
    4. All Johto spawns in the Sevii Islands would be replaced with members of the new Regional Dex.
    5. The return of Spiky-Eared Pichu, Cosplay Pikachu, Cap Pikachu, Mega Evolutions and Gigantamax Pokémon. The former three would be stat-boosted to make them more viable and desirable.
    6. Updated dialogue to accommodate (and in some cases, explain) the addition of all of these new Pokémon and forms, with some established locations being reworked for the new Pokémon (ex. the Safari Zone being for Alolan Forms with the original spawns being relocated throughout the region).
    7. Updated trainer rosters and spawns to accommodate all of the new Pokémon.
    8. All type specialists will actually be specialists of their chosen type. (Looking at you, Elite Four...)
    9. Due to there still being a shortage of Ghost and Dragon types in Kanto even with all of the expansions in later generations, Agatha would be a dual Ghost/Dark specialist, while Lance would have the four Kanto dragons (Megazard X, Kingdra, Dragonite, Alolan Exeggutor) and the two non-Dragons from Kanto in the Dragon Egg Group (Arbok, Gyarados). As a nod to the anime, Lance's Gyarados would be Shiny.
    10. A few additional Team Rocket encounters in order to make their presence felt throughout the game and make their ultimate motives clearer.
    11. Jessie and James would make an appearance as Team Rocket Grunts. Their usage would be based on their usual goofy and campy anime appearances. Meowth would be a part of James' team.
    12. Leaf/Red actually becomes a character when you play as Red/Leaf, helping you deal with Team Rocket, taking on Blue's few interactions with them and getting more of their own.
    13. Infinite Gym Leader rematches in the Saffron City Dojo similar to HeartGold and SoulSilver, but you can also rematch the Elite Four, Blue and Leaf/Red here as well. After defeating Team Rocket, you can also rematch Jessie and James, though they're in disguise.
    14. You can challenge Janine after defeating Koga, and she would also appear in the Dojo for infinite rematches. Losing to you inspires her to work harder, and she would decide to challenge Koga for the Gym Leader position someday.
    15. After defeating Ariana and Archer in the Rocket Warehouse, you would find a hidden room with a Giovanni hologram explaining to his team why he has disbanded Team Rocket. After hearing his message, you can rematch the hologram infinitely.
    16. Routes 26, 27 and 28 are added, as well as Faraway Island, Tohjo Falls, Birth Island, Navel Rock and Mt. Silver.
    17. Challenge matches like those of Alola! You are challenged for the title of Champion by the Elite Four, Blue, Leaf/Red and newcomers Chase, Elaine and Trace. As Challengers, Blue and Leaf/Red are Type Specialists, while Chase, Elaine and Trace are always Type Specialists.
    18. Blue and Leaf/Red can be battled as Type Specialists in Pallet Town. Blue specializes in Flying-types, while Leaf/Red specializes in Fairy-types. Chase, Elaine and Trace can also be found here, and they will specialize in Steel, Bug and Normal-types respectively.

Pokémon StaticYellow (I would've gone ThunderYellow, but apparently that's already taken) would be the more ambitious of the two, with all of the RainBlue additions plus more severe changes:
    1. The entire Pokémon League would be rearranged by how many Pokémon of their type they have at their disposal (ex. Agatha being a Gym Leader with only three fully-evolved Ghost-types she can use).
    2. Different Gyms would be in different towns to reflect this (ex. Agatha would be based in Lavender Town, due to that being the domain of the Ghost-types.)
    3. The Sevii Islands would be unlocked upon first arriving in Vermillion City, and be much more integral to the Team Rocket plot.
    4. Taking inspiration from the climax of the Black and White games, 7 of the Gym Leaders (obviously not counting Giovanni), all of the Elite Four and both Blue and Leaf/Red would take an active part in helping you hunt down Team Rocket.
    5. Jessie and James would make an appearance as Team Rocket Admins. Their usage would be based on their more competent and ruthless Unova anime appearances, complete with the traditional black Team Rocket uniforms. Meowth would be part of Jessie's team. Jessie and James' portrayal would be the only change to the RainBlue additions.
    6. A post-game with a Mew and Mewtwo storyline involving the island city of Holon (from the Trading Card Game) to the South of the Sevii Islands, and the Kingdom of Rota (from Lucario and the Mystery of Mew) to the North of Pewter City and Mt. Moon. Unlocked after catching Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave and Mewtwo on Faraway Island, it delves deeper into the relationship between the two and also why Mewtwo can Mega Evolve but Mew cannot, despite Mewtwo being the more recent of the two.
    7. After defeating the Mew storyline, you would return to see Janine and Blue instated as Gym Leaders and challenge them with stronger teams than before.
    8. As the Champion, you would be called upon by Blaine to help him and the rest of the Pokémon League evacuate Cinnabar Island during its fateful eruption, with a special sidequest to rescue some Pokémon from the Pokémon Mansion, unlocking a final piece of the puzzle about Mew and Mewtwo in the process.

RainBlue is easily the version of Kanto that I have always wanted to play through. The fact that FireRed, LeafGreen, Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee felt the need to restrict themselves to the original 151 (or 153 in Let's Go's case) always made going through Kanto so lackluster.

StaticYellow is what I would do if I could take everything about Kanto and remix it in a way.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to ROMhack on binary or on decomps. I've never made a game of my own. So these ideas will remain just that. At least until I teach myself how to make a game, or someone offers. Anyways, thanks for reading, and I hope you liked my idea.
