Pokémon: Red & Blue Revamp Project

the easiest way to revamp the black spots is to just use the darkest color of whatever the black seems connected to and take out all but the very outside part of the black... i may throw an example up later if anyone wants it.

its not necessary, but it makes a huge difference. if you dont mind going back to the first page, look at the ones i did... if you look at the new sprite for charmeleon or charizard compared to the old ones, they look a lot different and barely took any effort.

youve pretty much got the idea, but when i get home i'll make something that may help to make em look better.

but you got it :D it may not be much, but doesnt the small details make a difference?

Here's the tutorial/suggestion i promised. i hope its understandable, it was hard to get my thoughts out... :) please speak up if this helps you! (and ty for permission to borrow your revamped vaporeon)

the back leg needs a bit of scratch shading to make it look better, but i only made this to show basics... anything more advanced then this should be so-so to do alone.

Oh and Jal i'll do Porygon since Cheessewig won't be back till Saturday, he VMd me on that. I'm also saving the Gengar Line For Myself. :3

Edited the pincers because I found out that the colours of the pincers(?) should be yellow, ATTEMPTING SNORLAX NOW!!!

Ok, here's the Gengar Line and the replacement Porygon intil Cheessewig get's back.

I didn't have much to work with, in the Gengar Line, so it might look messy.

Great job on the Gengar line and the Porygon! But, it looks like the Haunter and Gengar don't have a lot of shading, and that makes them look 2D. Do you think you can add some more shading to the two?:D And, the Arcanine line is saved for you, now.:)

Ofcourse. I'll add a sepparate only Haunter and Gengar revamp tommorow with nice shading. Aslong as arcanaine is mine. :3
 
Gave up on snorlax, too difficult...
And I am not sure what to do already.
