Orre : Arizona

Sevii Islands: Bonin Islands

Notes: Kanto Region and Kyushu were to be attacked during Operation Downfall and Orre is the only region based on a location outside of Japan

If you didn't realize it already, here you go! some people make fake maps of all the regions together.
The real pokemon map is based on is of japan.

the Sevvi islands are based of some islands below tokyo.

Interesting.. but not surprising. Variuous animes' storylines take place in Tokio which is the capital of Japan.

Most of Pokemon is a copy of real life, so I'd expect teh names to come from real life. But that must have taken a while to look up anyway^^
