That's a strange problem. Ensure you are updating properly, the Pause Menu has changed, ensure the keybindings are the same. Default is Left Shift.

If you downloaded Shinju Adventures starting from V2.0/2.1 you will not have the updater files, you'll need to download them from below. Then, unzip the zip file, drag and drop the folder called "poke_updater" into the root of Shinju's folder, and run the poke_updater.exe found inside. Sorry about the confusion!

Hey ho, SashaTheYeen.^^

I've got the first badge and went to the next town - but there is a big problem:
The trainer there are way too strong! >_< How can they all be three or more level higher than my Pokémon, when I've got only level 12 Pokémon? Did I miss something? Because the trainer before the next town are at my strength so there must be something I missed, but couldn't find anything. And on Route 3 are ones at level 20.

Or is your game not balanced? Is this one some kind of to do hours of work to get a little piece of story?

It's meant to be a bit challenging so you can grind pretty quickly on the Route 3 wild pokemon. Sorry if it seems harder than you planned!
