Wow, I was pretty much impulsed to post a comment here.
I acknowledge all you want to achieve, because I too have also been searching to fill that void as you call it. Ive always wanted to create a realistic atmosphere in the pokemon world, and I was close to giving up and deciding that it is impossible to do such a thing in 2D. Thats awesome you could make such a big and realistic city, although not perfect it is really inspiring.
If I had seen your applications, I would have dropped everything to help you. But as it stands Im already busy with my own project. Although, I'm interested in sharing our work together in order to possibly help and inspire each other. If you want a sample of my work here you go click click

How about a renumbering of the Pokedex so it's properly organized with evolutions and such? I mean, with every generation you get some changes to many Pokemon so it can get confusing when you have to go from 2nd generation Elekid to 1st generation Electabuzz to 4th generation Electivire. Also, it would make a lot of sense to put Regigigas immediately after the other three.

I'll be willing to do that if you like.

what will you do for the ranger regions? Will you be able to capture pokemon or will you have to put all your pokemon in the PC?

Well, I've been following this topic during a long time, and now, I finally recovered my password, just to post here. I want to say that what you are doing, is simply amazing. I've got a lot of dreams to, and a lot of ideas for the "perfect" Pokémon game. Maybe I'll post them once, and maybe I'll even try to join your team. It would be an honour to work on such a beautiful project, but I think I'm just not good enough.

That's actually not a bad idea, we may create our very own style of the National Dex.

I was wondering if (like in Firered) you would have multiple minigames in the game corner, each with their own save files. Like if you had a racing game featuring ponyta and you got up to level 15 out of 20, you'd want to save, right? So, I have two questions:
1. More than one minigame?
2. Save files on each minigame?
And also, you know how you can choose your character sprite, can you choose your surfing sprite?(Blastoist, Fraligater, Swapert, Empoleon, Kyogre, Wailmer, Lapras, ect.)

becaus i get it i,read the update bt if you do all the cities like vermillion.Not to mention that u still have 8 regions to fill up.Also By the time u're done with this game/hack,almost every1 will have forgotten about it.Iknow its ur long life dream and everything bt not every1 expects u to overdo the maps,the sprites,the features nd everything else.So im just sayin that u shouldn't work so hard on 1 part of ur project especialy if its a long one.

And third with all the supporters on this game, no one will forget. Poeple will want to help to see it finish faster if anything

I think you should be more respectful Nazo. A lot of hard time goes into this game. Mabye you don't make games, but you need to realize it's not easy.

I think Nazo was looking at it as a hack rather than a game. If it was a hack, it is overdoing it a tad bit, but that was still pretty disrespectful. Oh yeah and Nazo, I am pretty sure in the first post it tells you to respect them.... so do.
