Pokémon Typing Debate

I need explanation to Gliscor's typing, I mean seriously. Scarf's explanation of Flygon's seems valid, but Gliscor...
 
As for Gliscor its a (bat)Fly/scorpion pokemon (According to Ash's pokedex). Bats fly (or somewhat glide ) therefore flying type and scorpion lives in ground therefore Ground type.
My personal opinion: I loved Gliscor's type cause its immune to Electric and Ground and resistant to many other


OK now someone tell me how could an Azurill be normal type.

It evolves into an water type (not of much significance though)
It learns most water type attacks then how could it be Normal type
