I never got the Fortog error (and I always catch one on my playthroughs) so I guess that was a one-time/specific thing...


A few updates: We're close to 3.0, yes demo 3.0! It will be the last one before full release and I promise it's great, top quality! I'm not sure how long it will be, but it will probably reach the 10 hour mark, at least!

sweet! lol. if the error happens again i'll mention it again. lol. and if you need help finding errors or bugs i'll be happy to try things out through the game and see if there are anymore. and also what about the trading starter thing? lol. ill try it again today and see if it happens. ill post screenshots of it if it happens

I already fixed it, I noticed this bug just after releasing the demo, about a year ago I think. And yes, it would be really helpful if you posted the bugs you find, or send them to me through PMs.

for some reason, when i try to extract it, my computer says it pulled a trojan out of it, and now i cant play because it removes the game app among other things. help?

I found out what caused the fishing error, it will be fixed for the next release! The map has already been fixed too :).

Some anti-virus recognizes rmxp .exes as viruses sometimes. I'd say it's just a bad anti-virus, I'm pretty sure there are no viruses in the files

i found some annoying errors. idk if they are just for me but i tried restarting laptop and same annoying errors. after first badge and you go to moki town. the lights in houses at night kinda flicker and sometimes turn off. and the trainer behind the crushable rocks she keeps glitching out trying to walk and its annoying cause she is blocking the path i need to go to.

she is trying to walk to me but she is glitching out on walking to me so now i cant move and she cant get to me.

This girl happens to some people =/. It was the worst bug on that release. Supposedly going inside a house then leaving would refresh the map and remove her from there. If that don't work, pm me that I will be able to help.
 
ahh well the girl dissapeared once it became day time ^^ lol. also something with some of my pokemon sprites. i've only noticed it with 2 pokemon so far. Tonemy and Smore. the sprite moves up.

woo havnt been on the forums in a while. lol. havnt played the game in a while either. lol. i still think the pokemon need a more variety of what lvl they evolve. so many evolve in the 20's.. and idk if its just me but it seems like it takes forever to lvl pokemon up. or maybe its just that i have a computer time limit and have to get off and cant play the game all night.
 
Can't open the game file. How can I open the rgssad file?

*edit: Fixed it. There was an exe file my pc didn't extracted because my Avira antivirus didn't like, so I turned it off.

Hey guys! I now I'm not doing justice to the game thread here not bringing updates but you must know we are working at full speed! The 3rd and last demo will be released still this year and it will bring loads of hours of gameplay (till 5th gym out of the 6 in west Tandor IMO) and I'll do my best to deliver a bugless product with all sprites and backsprites etc. It will be the best fakemon game experience you will have thus far! I promise!

edit: I'll make a post with more detailed info and updates later.
 
I tried this demo twice and both times (about twenty minutes through) it has an error message and freezes. Other than that I love it. It is way more challenging than any other pokemon game I have played.

What were you doing when that happened? The demo is much longer then that and doesnt have many fatal bugs.
 
I found a couple of bugs that you might not know about
1. if you talk to the Prof repeatedly you can get an infinite amount of pokeballs. This is after the first gym.
2. When Tofurang attacks or is attacked it slightly moves up.
3. In the building between Burole and Route 3 there is an invisible wall (Perhaps a desk) In front of the woman to the right
