Pokémon whose Pokédex color listings don't make sense?

As with typings, all Pokémon are placed in different color groups, and some of them are more apparent than others. But are there any that you look at and go, "no way is this that color"? Things that you question what Game Freak saw in them that had them being placed there?

One that comes to mind for me is Staraptor being in the Brown color group. I can hardly see any brown on it at all, and it's really more black or gray than such, so it's one that should have been in one of those groups if you ask me.

How about you? Any Pokémon that you think don't have proper color listings? Discuss.

Fennekin and Braixen being in the red group. I see that they have red ear fur/end of tail fur but isn't most of their bodies yellow?! I see Delphox since its whole lower body is red but I thought the grouping was based on what color was most dominant on the Pokemon's body?

The same thing happens to Bayleef (Put into Green group while its body is mostly Yellow) and Venusaur (Green group when its body looks blue).

I think Game Freak just got lazy with some evolutions and said 'does it have that color on it? Yes? Leave it'.

That is indeed true, there are a lot of Grass-type Pokémon that are listed as green just because they have that color on them - Whimsicott being one, that I would probably place as white for the cotton coming from it. And there's Druddigon, which is mostly blue but that head is red so they placed it in that color group as they define it as its main part.

Bronzor, bronzong, golett, and golurk are in the green color group. At least put them in the color group that relates to their type if you're going to disregard that they are mostly blue.
