    Who says it's obligatory to ship them with humans?

    I was scrolling down the Bulbapedia list of ships and suddenly it hit me that I ship lots of Pokémon together. Seeing as no club for Pokémon x Pokémon existed, I took the matter into my own hands. (If there was indeed another club, I missed it. In which case, oops.)


    Thus this club was born!

    +No R-rated posts. If there's a cool fanfiction/fanart that's for adults only, don't host it in a post. Give us the link only, and do advise that it is for 16/18+.

    Oh my goodness, immediate joinage! I'll create some banners and stuff for the club, if you want, although I can't garuantee (sp?) they'll be any good!
    I've been in a really PMD mood today. I absolutely adore Bidoof x Hero and Chatot x Wigglytuff. So adorable! (Of course, the hero is female in my games, so male attitudes to Bidoof x Hero could be very different. XD)
    I also quite like Hero x Partner, but Bidoof is too adorable not to prefer it. =3
    On a more general note, I'm a big fan of Arcanine x Persian (PeltShipping). I'll explain my reasons when I have time. ^_^

    I've always thought that they're both really the top of their kind... I mean how I've always considered Arcanine to be the lords of canine Pokemon - They're regal, powerful and majestic Pokemon - even known as 'Legendary'. Persian are up there at the top of the feline Pokemon; they're elegant, beautiful and classy. One is even the lap cat of Giovanni himself. The two of them used to be my favourite Pokemon from their types, too, until I discovered how much I adored Wigglytuff. As it is, I still adore both of the Pokemon, and I think they'd look awesome together.

    Actually you're right. There aren't any. I'm just used to seeing lots of fanfiction with Pokémon/Human shippings.


    My fave ship is probably Garchomp/Sharpedo. I've even gone as far as to write a fanfiction about it, but since I suck at animal interaction I made it a human!fic.

    ...and then I deleted it because it really, really sucked. OTL

    I also really like Bayleef/Ivysaur, haha. OH AND GROUDON/KYOGRE. It's totally canon. ;D

    Garchomp x Sharpedo, eh? I've never really considered it, but it makes sense. As for Groundon/Kyogre, I agree that it makes sense, but I don't actively ship it.

    According to a Pokedex entry I read, if two Wigglytuff hug they will never want to let go because Wigglytuff fur feels that good. I was thinking that could make for some adorable and amusing fanart or fanfiction. I'll write it if I get the chance (and if my brain doesn't turn to mush thinking about how excuisite (sp?) the fur feels like it did when I was writing GuildShipping fanfiction the other day)...

    There are some couples I want to ship but they would just be impossible. I'll get around to posting some examples if I can actually remember them at some point.
    I sometimes find it hard to write Pkmn x Pkmn fanfiction because of Pokemon's body shapes, for example when I was writing the brain mush GuildShipping and Wiggltuff put his arms around Chatot in a hug... Until I remembered that Wigglytuff have tiny stubby arms that couldn't fit around a Caterpie. XD

    About those memory lapses, I'm pretty sure everyone has them, haha. That Pokédex entry made my go 'aww', though. That's really cute, actually. <3
    Although I usually ship the "sort-of-canon" pairings, like Nidorino/Nidorina or Ditto/Everyone (hurr), I like to go wild with my imagination.

    Dawn's Buneary x Ash's Pikachu? If that's not canon pokélove, I don't know what is.

    I once wrote a piece of (absolutely CRUMMY) fanfiction in which all of my amazing Mary Sue's Pokemon were in love.
    There was Dragonite x Gardevoir and Arcanine x Persian, and her Buizel was in love with Dawn's. Joyful Pokemon love. ^_^
    As it is, I went on to really like Arcanine x Persian. =3


    What are some of the weirdest pairings you've thought of or shipped?
    I ship Darkrai x Lopunny. It's quite weird, but there you go. (It could have something to do with the fact I rather like AegisShipping (Darkrai x Alice) and Alice has Lopunny hair, of course).

    I think all of mine are weird, actually. Read on...

    I'll just list all my shippings right here.

    The first pairing I ever thought of was Kabutops X Golduck, which I guess hasn't really existed before, so I decided to give it the name "BladeBillShipping". I like this pair a ton, and it remains my absolute favorite to this day.

    Flygon X Scizor is another one I like.

    Lugia X Rayquaza (AerozoneShipping): I'm real big fan of this one 'cause it's got my two favorite legendaries in there.

    Gabite X Scyther: I think this one's totally hot 8)

    Since I don't see the anime, I don't really ship anything there except for the more famous humans, and that's only one pairing. But I see where you're getting at, Arcanine, Dawn's Piplup and Ash's Pikachu has an insane fanbase. Especially when they're used as weapon for Ash/Dawn, haha. (Also, you're now a co-owner. ♥)
    Although I sort of do that, too (Pokémon Special and issues with canon pairings with Pikachus, IDK, it doesn't matter. ;D)

    Lugia/Rayquaza's been on my mind ever since this. It's so epic it hurts.
