Jake now realizes that Houndoom doesn't seem to be barking at Rain... It seems to be barking back towards Meteor Falls... Augh! I should have guessed something else was wrong! Houndoom would never bark at something like this stupid Pokeball issue! Jake begins to shout hysterically, "Rain, something is going on in Meteor Falls, there has to be, and there's a passage to that inner room in there too! Rain, we need to get back into the secret cave!" Jake is making barely any sense, talking so fast. As he looks back again, he sees mist gushing out of the cave. That can't be good. Jake just quits waiting for a response. He gestures for his Pokemon to follow him and rushes towards Meteor Falls.

Barker jumped in front of Tommy to take Mace's unusual attack. Barker was knocked out instantly.

"Interesting, but I think you need to cool off for awhile." Tommy suggested.

Electricity formed around Tommy and to the ground and zapped around Mace electrocuting him tremendously sending him flying back in the river completely knocked out.

Tommy slowly slipped into the darkness and vanished.

The world rapidly falls into chaos. All technology and electronics have ceased to function around the world. More Pokemon are beginning to grow vicious and attack in large numbers. With Mace knocked out and Luther caught in a vicious battle against his own Pokemon will anyone be able to stop the glitch from ending the world? And what will become of our brave heroes?

"Auora, Teleport!" Rain shouts, and she, Ruby, and the Espeon dissapears.

Mace's body began to change form. It his whole body including his close turned pure black, but his eyes turned red.
"This is my ture form." The voice said with Mace now the one trapped in his mind. "At your own will you can take your body back over, but if you want to live you'll let me stay in control."

"So I by body inhabits to souls?" Mace asked curiously.
"Yes, a Powerful one and a weak pathetic one." The voice replied.
Mace's darker side began to walk back toward the Cave of Orgin. "Your friend may need help." He said walking slowly.

Jake dashes back into Meteor Falls, goes through the deeper cavern, and goes into the only room that isn't spouting mist. He knows from the Cave of Origin encounter that that is where Tommy is. He is surprised at the sight that greets him: An evil Tommy taunting a pure black Mace, while Luther grins happily as his Pokemon prepare to crush him. Meanwhile, the mist from the entrance of Meteor Falls blocks his Pokemon from entering, like a wall. Jake just now notices that Houndoom didn't follow him in. Jake sighs silently. Great, now what?

OOC: I'm a bit confuzzled. Would anyone mind refreshing my memory on what 5 pokemon I'm currently surrounded by? I'm aware of Scizor and Ninetales, but I can't for the life of me remember the other 3, and I cannot smite them if I don't know what I'm supposed to be smiting. For lack of a better term, anyway >_>

Help, pwease?

OOC: Well, since Dragonite isn't there and Barker is busy with Mace, you are supposed to smite a Scizor, a Ninetales, a Grovyle, and a Flygon. Good luck with that. :-D

IC: Jake stumbles over his thoughts. Okay, dark Mace walked out, and evil Tommy disappeared into the shadows, so Luther is left grinning to fight most of his and Mace's Pokemon. Fool. Jake rushes in to help Luther. "Luther, how can you be so smiley at a time like this?" Jake yells. "Your Pokemon will have no hesitation to destroy you! There is real danger here, you oblivious..." Jake leaves the insult hanging, failing to find a strong enough word. Great, now I have to help Mr. Smiley suvive against his own Pokemon's attacks, as well as Mace's. How lovely. Jake assumes a battle pose against the four Pokemon, much like Luther. "Looks like I'm the only one who takes things seriously around here." Suddenly, I'm glad my Pokemon didn't follow me in.

Mace's Dark side walks past the battle seeing Luther and Jake about to fight the Pokemon. "Your friends seem to have that under control, I'll leave them to the battle."
"What!?" Mace yelled to his Dark Side. "They're in trouble and you just want to leave!? I would feel bettter in control of my body right now!"
"So now the coward wants to take action?" His Dark Side Replied. "I'd probably kill the Pokemon, and you would probably die. But I could stay around for awhile and watch the battle."
Mace was silent again.

Luther turned, just in time to see Jake running towards him, yelling something about smiling. Luther grinned. "It's so nice of you to join me! You see, the pokemon and I were discussing the current political state of the world over a nice cup of tea."

He gestured towards the group of growling, salivating, bloodthirsty creatures that surrounded him. "They're really quite a fine group, you know. Educated, polite, and-" he was cut off, as the Ninetales leapt on to him and knocked him to the ground, attempting to tear out his throat.

Luther gasped as the air was knocked out of his lungs. He was not pleased. Instinctively, he jolted his right leg upward, planting his knee firmly in the Ninetales' stomach. The dog-like pokemon howled, and Luther promptly headbutted it. The Ninetales fell on its back, and stopped moving.

"No, Brock would NOT make a good senator!" Luther said calmly as he stood up. He dusted off his coat, then turned back to Jake. "They can get some really stupid ideas, sometimes." Luther took a step forward, and calmly swatted away the now airborne Grovyle. It fell unconscious with a thud.

"I'm hungry. Let's go eat something later," he said with a smile.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dragonite soared through the air at an incredible rate. The psychic trainer sat atop the dragon, her jade-colored hair flowing neatly in the breeze. "It's been a while since we've seen each other, hasn't it?" She asked, nostalgically. Dragonite let out a soft cry in response.

"I don't mind being the back-up agent. I just hope this isn't something stupid like the last time." Sabrina chuckled, but wanted to slap Luther at the same time. The last time he called her, he was running an unauthorized investigation on a strange occurrence at the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town. Apparently, the ghosts had reappeared.

It turns out that Lavender Town was celebrating Halloween, and the "ghosts" were merely decorations. The Tower had been temporarily turned into a tourist attraction. "Please tell me this is a serious issue. Pokemon League agents shouldn't be investigating how to bake the perfect loaf of bread."

Dragonite nodded, and Sabrina smiled. "Then hurry. I still have a gym to run, you know!"

"Now isn't the time for sarcasm, Chuckles," Jake says, strangely calm while Scizor's claw narrowly misses his head. "Get serious or we're both done for." He takes the chain off of his cloak and begins to smack Scizor with it, but doesn't notice Flygon sneaking behind him...

"Jake look out!" Mace yelled forgeting he was the one inside his mind.
"He can't hear you." Mace's Dark side replied. "I know your going to ask me why I'm not helping, that's because I really don't care. Oh, also keep getting angry... it makes stronger. In other news if you even try to take your body back over you'll most likely die to these Pokemon so don't try." It was amost as if Mace's dark side was Reading Mace's mind.

Mace began to calm down. If he got any angrier he hi Dark side would get stronger.
"Oh and you have a bad taste in food, I hate when you eat the Chocolate Covered Pickles they taste horrible!" Mace's Dark Side randomly said.
"So now his tounge is my tounge..." Mace said to himself.

"Wha- AUGH!" Jake is knocked across the room by Glider's strike. "Urgh... ack..." Jake struggles to get up, but can't lift his body from the floor. "Agh... can't... move..." Jake looks around the room, which seems now to be spinning, and keeps struggling to get up, to no avail. He gasps for breath, and finally gets up. He begins running toward the Flygon.

The entire cave shook, the tremors are starting again. Rock began to fall from the ceiling and the floor beneath the trainer's feet began to shake and split open. Jake and Luther fell down to the bottom chamber of the Cave of Origin with the Flygon falling with them. It got back up but stone fell on top of it, knocking it down to the ground and buried in a pile of earth.

Mist and electricity began to shoot out from the tunnels that leads to other caves and within the center of the chamber, Tommy emerged.

"You people never learn when to quit." He said.

Electricity poured to the ground and jolted towards the two making them fly back away from Tommy.

The ground shook once more.

"Mmmm... do you hear that?" Tommy asked as the ground shook.

"That is the sound of your demise." Tommy began to laugh.

Just then, exactly like what happened to Mace and Luther before, Jake's Pokeballs hovered away from him and into midair in front of Tommy.

"Your Pokemon... I can sense their fear. Perhaps they are scared of being kept in a Pokeball, why not let them loose?" Tommy asked.

Just then his Pokeballs opened, an Umbreon and Sneasel emerged. They seem to be infected by the virus.

"They seem to be angry at you Jake. They realized that you treat them as nothing more than mere tools for battle. They wish to share their pain with you." Tommy explained.

The two pokemon started to walk closer to the trainers and seemed to be preparing attacks.

"All they want is just your love and friendship... you have done a good job raising them with such loving care... they were manipulated so easily..." Tommy said in a sarcastic tone.

Jake begins to gasp for breath. He glares piercingly in Tommy's direction, almost completely ignoring both angry dark types. "You... you... I'll never forgive you... I'll... grrr... You say... we should treat our Pokemon... as friends?" Jake begins to talk, in a high voice and almost insanely. "My Pokemon... were my closest friends... until you did this... you... monster..." Jake is absolutely enraged, and rushes straight at Tommy. However, when he gets halfway there, he breaks down in angry sobs, losing control of his emotions. He shakily gets up, and charges Tommy in a blind fury.

Umbreon tackled Jake away from Tommy making him go flying back to where he started. Once the Pokemon did this it began to shake its head and grow confused.

"Your Pokemon... do not understand... open your heart to them." Tommy explained.

"You disgusting human! Treat your pokemon with respect!" Tommy yelled.

The Umbreon stopped and slowly looked back at Jake again, there is something changing, the virus.. could it be weakening?

It is as if Umbreon heard Jake call him his best friend, his close friend. It turned and readied another tackle against Jake!

Jake is snapped out of his deranged state. Was that Tommy? The real Tommy? For a moment there? "You... you are doing w-worse... worse things... to those... P-p-pokemon... than any t-t-t-trainer... ev-ever..." Jake stammers angrily and shrilly at Tommy. "I... I... respected... them... and... then... you do this... and d-dare to say... that I... m-mistreated them? You... you... are the one m-making them f-fight... You... you're the one... h-hurting them... at least... at least... y-you d-d-didn't get... all... y-you're short... one... one of my... f-friends... S-sneasel... Um... Umbreon... f-fight... it..." Jake is barely making sense in his speech as he forces himself off the ground, and staggers toward Tommy again, forcing himself, running solely on thought. Houndoom... please... stay away... he pleads, while still trying to focus solely on moving towards Tommy.

Umbreon and Sneasel both watched their trainer in pain and began to shake their heads and cry. Soon they were back to normal again and helped Jake up.

"So, you have finally realized that Pokemon aren't just tools.. they are living, breathing creatures as well. Too bad not all Trainers are like you..."

He continues,

"....You and your Pokedex's you number Pokemon like cattle! Look at me! Behold! I am the one with no number! Free as the clouds you watch in the sky! Here I am! The Missing Number! The one with no name! Or how you humans like to call me... Missingno." Tommy explained.

The ground shook again. Electricity engulfed Tommy and spread everywhere.

"Well.. I have no need for this human anymore." Tommy said.

Tommy's body can be seen going straight to sleep and be thrown against the cave's wall to the side. Where Tommy floated now holds a ball of electricity. After close examination one could see something being formed within the electricity. The form looked like that of a small bright yellow small child in fetal position, no larger than 2 ft at most. It opened its large olive shaped eyes. They are red,

"IT DOES NOT MATTER NOW! EVERYTHING WILL END! COMPUTERS,MACHINES, I WILL USE THEM ALL! ALL SHALL BECOME A GLITCH AND THIS WORLD WILL START ANEW!" The Pokemon yelled.

Yes, what is before the trainer's very eyes is infact a hidden pokemon, the one that Tommy tried to explain to the group before. The ground shook more and electricity zapped around everywhere.

OOC: Great, Missingno, glitch pun. Unexpected.

IC: Jake looks angrily at what apparently was a Pokemon. An incredibly vain Pokemon. Well, this is weird now. I take it back, I wish Houndoom were here. Jake bengins to speak angrily, yet calmly. "So, Missingno, you realize that no matter who or what you are, I'm still mad. And I don't think my friends are too happy about your controlling them either." Sneasel and Umbreon glare viciously at Missingno. "They seem upset about being forced to fight! DO YOU THINK THEY'D LIKE TO SHARE THEIR PAIN WITH YOU?!?!?" Jake angrily mocks Missingno, while Umbreon and Sneasel prepare to take revenge.

"Angering Missingno won't help you defeat it," Scott said as he walked out of his hiding place. On his shoulder was a strange coloured pikachu with cobalt blue eyes. "It'll only make it more harder to beat, besides I'm pretty sure that Missingno is more of a 'virus' than a pokemon, thus that is why he has no number, or real body for that matter."

"Trainers.....Trainers.... Trainers..... Trainers,Trainers,Trainers! Curse all Trainers! Enslaving Pokemon like a sport. You disgust me. The world is on its brink of total destruction. Foolish humans. Your vain journey ends here. The price for your insolence is pain beyond pain. I will create a world where I am the Trainer and you humans are the catch! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Who shall I capture first!? How about you three..." Missingno said looking at the three Trainers made up of Luther, Jake and Scott.

The entire ground shook and began to break. Stone and earth began to fall from the ceiling and smash into the ground around the Trainers. The very ground beneath them began to crack and give.

Electricity sprung from Missingno's body and zapped Umbreon and Sneasel away from it.
