Mace go up and in away was proud the pokemon were back to "normal", but he knew the battle was not over yet. Mace looked at his Pokemon who appreared next to him.

Mace's Aracanine, Barker was in a fighting postion. His Flygon, Glider Flapped it's wings strongly as it prepared for battle. Mace's Grovyle, Twig got rid of a stick that was in it's mouth and took a fighting postion.

"Idiot" A voice in Mace's mind was saying to him, Most likely his Dark Side.

A blizzard flew swiftly towards Missingno. The attack flew higher and higher and then stopped. It had no affect on Missingno what so ever!

A soothing light touched Sneasel. Sneasel became frozen solid. Sneasel is unable to move.

Luther looked up towards the sun, then down at the now frozen Sneasel. Something clicked within that nearly empty skull of his, and everything suddenly made sense.

"Well, then. I guess a direct assault won't work," he said with a smirk. But what will?

Raising his right hand to his chin, Luther assumed a thinking position. Thoughts of a sentient waffle riding a pink pony were soon erased, as Luther began to brainstorm. Missingno was ranting something about bonds...am I just pulling at straws? Or am I onto something?
-------------------------------------------------
Dragonite dove straight down for several miles, before coming to a sudden stop in a large chamber. Sabrina dizzily hopped off, and wobbled around for a few moments before regaining her senses. Her Alakazam seemed to fair better, managing to keep its orientation in tact.

Sabrina sighed, and turned to face Dragonite. "You just love smashing through ceilings, don't you? Honestly, didn't Luther ever teach you-" she cut herself off when she noticed the bodies. There were about a dozen of them, unconscious and strewn about the room like dolls. Lining the walls were a series of non-functional computer systems, each one stamped with a distinct red "R". Sabrina chuckled at the thought of Team Rocket labeling everything they own with their logo. I wonder if their pokemon have labels, too..? She thought to herself.

She silenced herself, as her weariness grew. This room was definitely the source of the rift she felt earlier. "No, it's not just this room... It's almost as if the entire cavern is resonating. Alakazam, can you feel this?"

Her pokemon nodded, to which she replied "Then there has to be a fault line somewhere, a breach in the dimensional rift. Something tells me Luther's there." And with my luck, he's the cause of all this!

As Sabrina and Alakazam began to search the chamber, Dragonite merely scratched its head. It didn't understand a word of what Sabrina just said.

Jake gave Sneasel an Aspear Berry to defrost it. "Okay, no more attacking for a while. I wonder if anyone else has a better idea..." Nothing's working! We need to figure out something before I run out of berries...Jake tells Umbreon to use Reflect. "We'll wait here until we figure something out..."

OOC: Please people, PM me for any questions or concerns you may have. Sure, you can be a Gym Leader but not an existing one. You have to create your own character. A perfect example is HoundoomoftheDarkness's character: Jake.

Missingno floated in the sky and filled the air with its awesome glow. It is so beautiful and radiant yet horrifiying at the same time.

A soothing light touched Umbreon. Umbreon became poisoned. Umbreon grew weaker by the poison eating him away.

Jake yells. "OH COME ON!!!" He gives Umbreon a Pecha Berry. "UMBREON, SAFEGUARD!!!" Umbreon creates a new forcefield, one that protects from status effects. "There... that should buy us some time..."

Missingno still remains afloat and has not attacked yet.

A soothing light touched Umbreon. It violently interacted with its Safeguard. Umbreon fainted from the incredible shock.

"This is way out of my league," Rain realizes.

After pondering for many minutes, Luther's eyes lit up. He grinned, and clapped his hands. "Alright! I got something!" Rather than thinking out a long, complicated strategy, Luther decided to try something and plan his strategy around what happened next. He took a few steps forward, looked straight up at Missingno, and stretched out his arms.

He began to flail his arms around, communicating in sign language as he spoke to the massive creature. Can it even be considered a creature? Who knows. Certainly not the narrator.

"WHAT-DO-YOU-WANT-FROM-US-?"

Electric pulses began to surge throughout Missingno's body. Lightning can be seen striking to the ground from underneath it. Lightning struck Luther fast and hard. The Triner flew at least 20 feet from the impact.

For a moment, his body went numb. He was thankful for that, as his forced meeting with the ground would have been rather painful otherwise. Luther hopped to his feet, and smiled yet again. "Well, that answers my question. I think it wants us to shut up and die. Reminds me of a teacher I once had, a long, long time ago...."

He began to reminisce. But it's an irrelevant story, so the memories didn't last very long.

Name: Jason Braodwell (Jay)

Title: Trainer and aspiring Gym Leader

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Birth Date: September 24, 1989

Birthplace: Cerulean City, Kanto

Height: 5'9

Weight: 137 lbs.

Role Model: Misty: Cerulean City Gym Leader

Group: None

POKéMON: Starmie, Cloyster, Blastoise

Appearence: Jason has an athletic build due to his constant training with his water Pokémon and his love of water sports. He is slightly tanned and has brown spiky hair. His eyes are sapphire blue. He wears a black polo with navy blue cargo pants that are baggy and wears black sneakers. He also wears a Yin-Yang necklace.

Personality: Jason is reserved and modest, and can be arrogant at times. He is also very smart and has quite an amount of wit. When it comes to battles, he is always focused and determined to win. Even though he only trains two types of Pokémon, he trains his Pokémon really well to be hard to defeat even against Pokémon that are strong against his type (Water/Ice). If he loses, he brushes it off coolly and congratulates & thanks his opponent for a great match. His arrogance can sometimes inflate the big "ego" of his but he is only joking when he is in this mood and is pretty "down-to-earth." He also does a good job at hiding his emotions which can be a good thing and a bad thing. He is very friendly however, once he is comfortable with a person and gains his/her trust.

History: The Broadwell family was known for quite a while, back when they owned a gym. His older sister was the gym leader and the gym was known to use Pokémon of the Water/Ice type. This was how Jason was influenced and loved these type of Pokémon. He always had enjoyed spending time with the Pokémon and learning about them once his sister was done battling for the day. Unfortunately, over time his parents had died in a plane crash, and a little while later sister had married someone and moved on with her life abandoning her gym leader commitment. He then lived with his grandmother. At the time Jason was still only nine years old and was too young to carry on as gym leader and this really upset him. And because of this the gym was left abandoned and was closed. The next 2 years, when he turned 11, he set out to be the best Water/Ice Pokémon trainer and eventually follow his family's footsteps and become a gym leader. He now works with Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader as one of the minor-leaders. Misty was like a role model to him and her specialty was water Pokémon. He hoped that one day he'd be just like Misty.

Rival: None

Extra: Jason had a bad experience with Ghost type Pokémon during his journey. While traveling in a dark and foggy forest, he encountered these Pokémon which were fooling around with his mind by showing images of a plane crashing into an ocean and images of his parents. He was horrified by this and fainted. When he awoke the next day, he realized that he was rescued by someone and was brought to a Pokémon Center. He has been afraid of Ghost Pokémon ever since.

Noticing and hearing about the news of the cave & virus in his own hometown. Jason traveled into the cave and saw the strange figure and was filled with rage. "So you're the one who started all of this, ruining our city and taking control of wild Pokemon..."

Noticing all the other trainers around him, he was shocked at what he saw and demanded to know what was going on. "What have you done to them?"

Jason somehow stumbled into Missingno's dimension. The valley shook tremendously then became calm once more. A loud horn like noise can be heard and then the sky with its stars began to swirl. It slowly all stopped. A calm voice can be heard,

"I am Missingno" It simply said.

"The world will end here...." It said as if introducing this unreal world.

"... All life extinct" It explained.

The ground shook again and then became calm.

"Reflect on your Pokemon...." It said smoothly.

The Trainers moved carefully towards it and watched its eerie glow.

"Your friendship...your hardships..." It said.

"Your joys..... your pain..." It explained.

The electricity implused around it more.

"Reflect on your Pokemon" It repeated.

"Your friendship... your hardships..." It said.

"Your happiness... your suffering..." It explained.

The electricity intensified.

It then began to continuously say the same thing over and over again as it pumped itself up....

Listening to this he wanted to find out more about this strange... thing. "What exactly are you? if you are a virus... who made you? where did you come from?"... Viruses don't just pop out of nowhere!"

He thought he made a smart remark but did not show any expression of innocence and kept a strait face.

Jake looks at his fallen Umbreon. "You've... got... to... be... kidding... me..." Jake gets a new idea, and says (in a sickly bright way), "anybody got a mirror?"

Noticing Jake's last statement. He was confused and thought, What did he need a mirror for? and why at this time?...

He got out his Pokeball containing Starmie knowing that Starmie had a light screen move which could also be used as a mirror. But instead, he waited and studied the trainer that just spoke.

An empty space near the group of trainers began to contort itself, as if the very fabric of space and time had been twisted by a giant invisible hand. It eventually returned to its natural state, if one can call this plane natural. Something was a tad different, though. For the space was no longer empty. Three figures stood within the vicinity. A tall, green haired girl, an Alakazam, and a Dragonite.

Luther squealed in delight when he saw them. "It's about time you got here! All sorts of things have happened."

Sabrina surveyed the area, and noticed the trainers standing near Luther. Some appeared to be in better condition than others. "Well. You always get yourself in trouble, but honestly, I never thought you'd go wandering off into a parallel universe." Her tone was strict, yet oddly forgiving. Sabrina had grown used to Luther's reckless behavior.

"And who are they?" she asked him, referring to the trainers she noticed before.

Luther grinned nervously. "It's a long story."

"I've got time."

"No, we really don't." Luther said, pointing towards the giant ball of fiery death floating above them.

"Right," Sabrina replied. "So which one of you wants to tell me what that thing is?"

Watching the green haired girl and her Pokemon enter, Jason remained quiet and reserved to see what would happen. He smirked at the squeal that Luther just did.

He realized that she was the Saffron City Gym Leader, Sabrina. Not too far from Cerulean, he once traveled there and it was and still is a big city. The largest city in the Kanto region. He remembered battling her and her Psychic type Pokemon and it was a tough match. He remembered his joy when recieving the Marsh Badge from her. He admired her for being a Gym Leader, because being one was his life-long dream.

Snapping back to what was happening at stake, he stopped dwelling on his dreams and thoughts and focused on studying the scene.

Mace stood still not noticeing Jason or Sabrina's apperance. He just kept stareing at Missiongno. Mace gulped nervously. Barker, His Arcanine hudged at him wanting to get ready to battle. But being as the coward Mace was, he just stood there.
