"Your power, too, is meaningless. What is your purpose? Why do you exist? Without these answers, what meaning does your power have?"
Raniya groaned. She hated those questions the most- it was like, going in a circle. "Must everything have a purpose?"
Meanwhile, Clefairy looked like a deflated pink balloon, her ears sagging and her cheeks turning purple. Never had she felt such a horrifying presence within her body. She felt like a deranged Sandslash was cartwheeling in her bloodstream and gasped. Her high voice unusable as she tried to tell Raniya to run. Clefairy was surprised that her senses were wrong... she'd lead Raniya into danger.
Raniya, meanwhile, was cursing the glitch pokemon, swearing in several different languages. But mostly, she was only doing it to keep her mind away from the pain.
She was terribly satisfied when she saw a Houndoom (Oh wow! If I brought that to the boss... and wow... this is like a pokemon gold mine!) and several other pokemon throw a combined attack. Unfortunately, Missingno still seemed a little weird. Clefairy's reasoning didn't seem to have worked. Raniya turned to her pink pokemon and gasped as she saw Clefairy.
She swore very loudly and crawled to the pokemon, trying hard to ignore the pain that was building in her ribs. She really shouldn't be taxing her body like this, but at the moment, Clefairy was hurt.
She brought the pokemon into her arms, worried brown eyes looking into Clefairy's rather relieved but obviously pained expression. Clefairy was like a second mum to her, an evil second mum with all the nagging- but still... Clefairy always knew about which schemes were best and how to get on Giovanni's good side.
She didn't know who this Tommy was, who all these people were- except for Sabrina. She'd heard about that girl, and scoffed. Giovanni didn't have to speak so highly about her... she was skinny and... and her clefairy could whip that Alakazam if she was feeling like it- heck even her Rattata could beat Alakazam... but right now, whatever Missingno was garbling about she just didn't care. She wanted to get out, but if that meant going back to Glitch City then...
All of a sudden everything had become unbearably complicated.
She staggered up, her Clefairy in her arms and tried to get to the exit. But to her annoyance she couldn't find the entrance.
"Just what the hell is his problem?" Raniya asked Jake, indicating to Missingno. She noticed thatJake looked as confused as she felt. She got out a needle from her waist pouch and injected one into Clefairy, hoping the antidote would repel the poison effects soon enough.
"I've got worse needles in here Clefairy, just wait until you become brilliant and I'll inject him with the formula that Donum was messing with. He's such a crybaby pokemon, whining and moaning about everything. You know I can't stand those pokemon, 'Fairy," Raniya began confidently, glaring murderously at Missingno, her expression sour on her face.
Clefairy was a little alarmed, then her expression deadpanned. Raniya would always be a little too impulsive for anyone's liking. "how're you going to inject anything into a glitch pokemon?"
"Drugs affect the way a system works, and he must have a system somewhere- because he is obviously capable of minimal conscious thought. The freak, talking to himself as if there are two of him."
