    thats right. their will be a special episode on that day. why? Junichi Masuda is gonna be appering and willl show NEW MEGA EVOLUTIONS! In addition will be talking bout the x/y anime as well.

    welp. I dunno bout you guys but I cant wait till he shows us mega sceptile and mega swampert. we have mega blaziken. iis inevitable. What other megas though will he show hmmmmm

    Meh. As Xander said, it's probably going to be nothing more than what we'll already know from that week's leak of CoroCoro. I'm more looking forward to what they reveal about the new season of the anime, but that's a different topic for another place.
     
    It will most likely just showcase what was already revealed in Pokémon Direct, and if anything CoroCoro too.
     
    Well, I really hope we get the starter evolutions.
     
    Since Masuda is going to be there, I could easily see him revealing something new. If they were planning to have a run down of all the current info, then they probably wouldn't have had Masuda make an appearance, y'know? They could have done it themselves.
     
    I agree with Perdition Haze, why make the man Masuda himself go if they're only telling us what we know so far.
     
    Is it on the 15th this month? The 15th is a Sunday and it usually comes out on a Thursday, at least what I am aware of? ( I honestly do not know, but I thought I saw something about the next issue being on the 12th this month as well.)

    Anyways, it is probably just a run down of what we will already know by that time. They always make a big deal of things and it never turns out to be very interesting.
     
    Well this week's episode of Pokémon Smash has showcased the Super Training, where you have to use the touch screen to fire balls into various parts of Magneton while avoiding large balls as your Pokémon sits on a platform. After completion, you will see a numerical value added to the stat. (Serebii)
     
    Also according to Serebi:"In the trailer for next week's episode, it also showed a battle where Mewtwo Mega Evolved while promising a shocking revalation about Mega Evolution, but they covered up the result of the evolution, with the host Shokotan seeming shocked." Could there be something else to MegaEvolution than what we already know?

    I don't think Mega Evolutions have been on Smash yet. Like they haven't been announced through Smash, so its probably just what we already know. They'll reveal it all as something new. As for Matsuda, his presence there really doesn't have any self importance. He's been there before and has done absolutely nothing when he'd go. Sometimes its big news, other times its not. With the high chances of this being a recap, I don't think him being there is significant.

    Of course, there's a lot of things we might not know about. I still have questions regarding Mega Evolutions that I hope they will reveal.


    I noticed with Super Training that they did not show what Pokemon it was in the screenshot. I had to research this, and it was Sylveon. So that darker pattern indicates its base stats. It's obvious that Special defense is its highest stat, with Attack and Defense being its lowest. It's kind of hard to tell with the other stats since they all seem to be pretty even. So there's that for those who like to figure out Base Stats before being revealed. Edit: Video found here

    Also, Mega Evolutions have been announced on Smash during the August 25th episode.

    While it could just be the way Serebii worded it, it seems that they already mentioned what Mega Evolutions as it says it promises "a shocking revelation of them" instead of saying They show the Mega Evolution animation which would imply they haven't shown it yet. I haven't kept up with all the smash episodes so I don't know if they've shown them yet.
    edit: ah thanks XXSky. So yeah they've shown them before, so there must be something we don't know yet...
     
    I'm expecting the next Pokémon Smash to showcase Mewtwo's rumored second Mega-evolution. I don't know how exactly that is going to work (MegaMegaMewtwo? lol) but I believe that is what they are foreshadowing. Maybe I am crazy.
     
    One MegaEvolution is enough, in my opinion. I'd rather like to see a MegaEvo for Mew, just like how it has been rumored before. Compared to Mewtwo, people don't seem to pay enough attention to Mew, so giving it a MegaEvolution form could hopefully change that. Also, it could majorly shake things up in terms of competitive battling, since Mew isn't a banned Pokémon.

    I sure hope it's not MegaMegaMewtwo...but if they make one they should name it Mewthree ;)

    I agree, they should make a MegaMew.
     
    I got to say I would love to see Mewthree or MetalMewtwo like in the anime, but I don't see that happening.

    I also hope we see MegaMew.
